Growing up in TX, we kids would go out to the yard and collect ripe pecans from the yard at grandmother's house.  Then the shelling, cleaning, and separation and she'd do gher magic.
Mmmmmmm...

...coconut cream pie, fresh peach pie, blueberry cream pie, and pumpkin-custard pie.

Do you have any idea how hard it was for me to refrain myself from making an inappropriate joke on this post?? :P

“The Revenge of the Nerds”  That was back in the days when you could poke fun at stereotypes. If you’ve never seen it, do so. But BP, can you really ride a tricycle?

Long time ago I bought one from a black Muslim on Crenshaw.
Not too long ago I tried them again outside the Hollywood Bowl. They're sweet and don't taste like actual beans or refried beans.

Spent much of my childhood growing up in Key West.  Real key limes are not harvested or grown in orchards. The trees grow in people's back yards. As a kid I'd get a basket and collect key limes that fell to the ground. For most people it was fair game.

Then  my mother would get the neighbor, a baker and cook by trade, to make us key lime pies.

Let me say this. There is NOTHING like the original made from real key limes from key west. And almost all bottled products are mixes, concentrates, or a small percentage of the original.  The one's you buy fresh at the grocery store are from Mexico. Not bad, actually.

So it's Key Lime Pie.

And if it's on the menu, which it rarely is, Black Bottom Pie.

My fav is Dutch Apple Pie too! :p

Pussy pie with fresh whip cream

is considered a "holiday pie", but I eat it  during the holidays. . . . . Key Lime.

Fresh raw pecans and rum barrel aged maple syrup from my local Farmer's Market, a splash of Cointreau, and a buckwheat crust. The right balance of earthy and sweet, and not a trace of high fructose corn syrup to be found.

sounds delicious.  From a guy who is known for eating pies served up by young women.

Shoot me an email-I'm happy to send along the recipes. :-)

Well Eve, I would admit that my first preference is Cherry Pie.  However as an attractive provider I would make an exception for you ;)

Also I want to give you some friendly advice,  about  CDL (Mr. "TER All World")  He baited you with a play on words.  However make no mistake, with most review sessions of 30 minutes CDL can't imagine what to do with a 90 minute session.  That would  be out of this world as his average of $250-$300 donation he one can't imagine that level of spending.

CLEARLY he has a history of criticizing any hobbyist who enjoys higher level providers by trying to belittle the hobbyist by saying that he has had the same experience for a fraction of the price.

Your success is undoubtedly straight ahead with your natural beauty combined with refreshing attitude!  So your time is better spent on anyone else than CDL.
