Hi ladies and gents!

What two or three areas make a good pair or trio of areas to host in?

LAX + Bev Hills + DTLA?
LAX + Pasadena?
DTLA + SF Valley?
Something else?

I haven't been in 3 years so wondering if anything has changed?

Thank you!

DTLA is the worst with parking and traffic. LAX is bad for parking. Beverly Hills, Culver City, Mid City, Santa Monica are all good areas.

Thank you! What about the gents that work in DTLA and are already there? Or live there?

If they work there, you might get a lunch break or after work appointment. Don't expect them to cover late night or weekends. People living there is growing, so it's possible that may enough. All this said, if they are interested in you and live or work there, they likely will have no issue going to a location like Beverly Hills which is not that far. Instead of limiting yourself to the live there/work there crowd of DTLA, I suggest a location that they will come to and so will others.

Yeah, it's worse and I doubt it will get better!

Thank you so much! Can you give me a few cities that you mean? Sherman Oaks? Encino?

If you are in the SFV, then keep it close to the Westside or Hollywood, so yes, Sherman Oaks or Encino will be right off the 405. Studio City will be right off the 101. That way, the rich gents who live on the Westside or Hollywood won't be too far away. I think it would still be better to be on the westside. A nice place in West L.A. would put you close to a lot of clients with $$$.

Agreed. Westside is the way to go. More clients. The valley, not so much.

I had to make the same decision recently so I picked one city from OC and IE but 2 cities from LA . For some reason I avoided dtla and lax all together. Sgv and southbay were my picks. Pasadena, Costa Mesa, Ontario, and Carson. So my advice is spread yourself around a bit LA area is large.

The Beverly Hills, West LA, Santa Monica area would probably be best for you
With your price point, the Valley, Pasadena and the IE could be tricky.
Newport Beach area might work but for a couple of days.
Good Luck and enjoy your stay

My days of getting a hotel & hoping for bookings ended in 2010. I only go where I am wanted when my time is reserved with a deposit. All my clients/friends select the location & hotel, then send funds for me to book the reservations for our date.  Hotels, resort fees, parking is expensive.
