By and large the Russian hookers I have seen have all been older, colder and "harder" than advertised. But Russia and the various ex satellite countries of the old USSR have some absolutely gorgeous women, too bad they are rarely the ones answering the door when you book a Russian hooker online.

As I was not hobbying 10-12 years ago, I don't know what Russian girls were like at that time, but I have pretty decent experience in the last couple of years. I have tried many indies, based on TER reviews. I don't think I had any bad experience, look and performance wise. From one of them, I found one agency that consistently offer good performance without any bait and switch. I also tried couple of time by ad website alone. Although it was 100% bait and switch (fake pics), the experience was okay. They all look good enough so you will stay, but their performance is lacking (no kissing, no daty, cbj only, etc.). From those few tries, I was given one agency's own website. There's no more bait and switch, but performance varies greatly. Although I like how Russian girls' look and body, I found it difficult to have a good GFE when they don't speak much English.
