I met a Sovereign Citizen through a friend. In the conversation, I found out I click with him. We had discussion about prostitution laws, motor vehicle laws, sovereignty, Federal Reserve Bank, etc.

Later in the conversation, I told him that if I join the Sovereign Citizen's movement, I will not get involve with the motor vehicle laws or filing common law liens.

I will focus on incorporating the Sovereign Citizen theories into the research of prostitution laws and developing Sovereign Citizen's application to these laws.

I showed him my posting on this message board and he told me that I AM ONE OF THEM. I think like a sovereign citizen. I was shock!!

I would like to ask fellow hobbyist about their thoughts about joining the Sovereign Citizens movement.

Do you recommend joining the Sovereign Citizens’ Movement?  Would their theories help to beat prostitution charges?

Do you have any experience with the movement

all your concerns will disappear.

Since all you do is worry about getting busted....I suspect you've never even seen (or will see) a hooker.

This also doubles for protection against the rapture  LOL

The Sovereign Citizen movement is an attempt to confront laws they dislike with legal gibberish that has no impact beyond annoying the judge if they ever get caught breaking the law. That's on good days. On bad days they actually believe their own nonsense to the point that they try to get away with murder and terrorist attacks. Stay very far away.

do not align yourself with radicals fomenting political change & drawing attention to themselves.
If you want to pursue political change, give up the hobby, obey speed limits & apply for Sainthood.

... someone advised him that if he joined this movement, he wouldn't owe income taxes anymore.  Then he ended up going to prison for 3 years for tax evasion.

Sovereign Citizens’ Movement is a big joke!

It has NO legal standing in any court anywhere in the US.

For example - you'll "change" your name, by executing non-legal documents and sending them to a clerk of court, rather than having an official name change through the court system. Because, of course, you have unilaterally declared yourself not subject to the legal system. Because, you know, that works, which is why only a few people have joined this movement. Then, you'll get pulled over for a speeding ticket or something, and give them your new identity, you'll receive a ticket under that name, and now you're busted for felonies of forging public documents and attempting to evade arrest.

True story.

But good luck with that. You may not think you're subject to the law of the land, but when the steel handcuffs go on, you may think better of it.
