Liability with Provider Retained Information

Hello Posters,

While I don't go out of my way to disclose personal information, there have been circumstances where providers required driver's license, LinkedIn profile, etc. for screening purposes.

Recently, someone posited that a provider could be arrested and asked to give-up her client list as part of a deal.

What happens to clients on the list? Do they go down for soliciting?

Interested to read your thoughts on this.

Thanks,

g-man

if the provider will testify, etc., but that's a lot of work and effort for relatively small returns.

Occasionally there are some high profile cases that do come to trial.    The case of Heidi Fleiss, the Hollywood Madame, comes to mind, but if you are a nobody, then nobody really cares.

LE could also call you and try to scare you straight, but there's little evidence of that happening, or you would think it would have been reported on here.   I do recall that the Boston police used to take down license plate numbers of cars parked in a notorious area and then calling them to warn about the dangers of prostitution.   When that came to light, there was a public outcry over that and they halted it, but it probably was a boon for divorce lawyers.

The fact that we hear so little of this kind of thing happening makes me think that it's one of those theoretical pitfalls but is so rare that it shouldn't be much of a concern.

It is still he said vs she said even if the provider had personally identifiable information of a client in their possession. Second it is becoming increasingly frowned upon to go after providers instead of clients(the whole Nordic model thing) the problem is in my opinion the creators of the Nordic model never understood the logistics of what you might call high end outcall escorting in that it is damn near impossible to arrest and charge only clients without a huge amount of logistical and surveillance efforts beyond what we consider acceptable in a free society. It is one thing to try to shutdown and harass providers incalls or even arrest clients at providers incalls as they do in Sweden but how do arrest a client at an outcall short of an extremely time consuming and possibly dangerous for LE undercover operation.
