A legal sex worker shares what it's really like to work in a brothel

Article about top earning gal at Hxxx's pimp house is fairly good with the positive aspects of sexwork.  Of course in my view, it is a terrible example of how not to do legal prostitution with the high costs, negotiations like buying a used car etc., vs. the far better legal options for both workers and customers in Canada, most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand much of So American and especially  Germany without a high costs of using a legal pimp.   But the article is mostly positive if you like high costs, negotiating prices, and worker restrictions.

Headlines:
xxxxxxxxx is a top-earning legal sex worker who has worked at a brothel in Nevada for two years.

She writes that her work is "stigmatizing, degrading, difficult, and the best thing I've ever done with my life."

Little's career has taught her more about herself, men, and how society perceives sex work.

She explains how the brothel ensures the safety of those who work there, and says that she can disagree to any activity she is uncomfortable with. (Just like any good agency or co-op in Canada or most of the world without the restrictions of workers and high costs.

Little wants people to rethink the way they see sex work, and says that she's not really selling sex,  but rather intimacy.

Does Nevada have a cbj law or policy?

Of course, they do inspections and always use condoms, I would never consider not using them or want to be with someone who doesn't.  I value the women's and my own health too much to be so careless.

Of course she was my GF and I was NOT doing it as a client. lol

Personally, I can't stand the Nevada model where it comes to legalized prostitution, but I do like the fact that they test the girls more often then lab rats. I have never felt safer having uncovered sex with any woman in my life, but it does go to show that virtually all providers are going BB with "someone"

Ironically my GF had worked at an AMP prior to working at one of the NV brothels, for guys thinking they are getting something "special" with these brothel girls, my GF went from charging $200 hr to closer to $2,000 virtually overnight. Same woman (hot), same services (less service actually), just a different venue and a price tag 10 times as high.

BTW, speaking of the lineups, my GF claimed she loved the competition at the brothels. She was one of the smart women in this business and was working on an "exit plan" from day one, the last I heard from her she had her own very successful spa somewhere down on the Fla gulf coast.

A brothel worker says about smallest penis:
The smallest was a micropenis, probably about 2 inches? I don’t have condoms for penises of that size, so we cuddled, used toys, massage, I gave him a handjob. My safety, and my clients safety take priority over your orgasm. End of discussion

What’s the most insane thing a client has asked you to do?
Ask to let him fuck me bareback. Never, ever! Why would you want to do that?

One gal I know very well (Met her at an MP, and now we have a quasi-SB/SD arrangement.) decided to try her hand in one of the legal NV brothels, but came back and told me it was the worst experience of her life given how cruelly and unfairly she was treated not only by management but by the other gals there.   Interestingly, the only people for whom she had any kind words were the clients.

I guess she just might have picked a bad place to work, however.

From the reply of the provider in question by Dave's first article:

Thanks so much for writing me! I'd love to answer any questions you have about setting an appointment with me! I'm not allowed to discuss prices online because of Nevada law, but if it helps you, super quick encounters are mid to high three figures, hours are low to mid four figures depending on the activity, outdates where we leave the ranch are mid to high four figures, and overnight stays are generally five figures. I really can't be any more specific than that without breaking the law, but you should know that I'm not generally a clock-watcher. I'm all about you having an amazing experience and that is my focus, not how much time is passing during your stay.

I hope that helps you plan a budget. You should put down a deposit so you get my number and we can plan! I'm available by appointment only, so it's super important you get a deposit on the books.

A deposit is only 10% of your intended budget, so it rarely causes any issues. You just need one on the books to reserve the booking date and get my phone number. When we agree on activities and price in person the amount comes right out of your deposit first, and you can imagine that we're going to be spending at least that much, so there's not much risk to you. Having a deposit just reserves my time for you so I don't double book that day and gives you my phone number so we can start texting, getting to know one another, and planning our fun!

To put down a deposit, you just call 775-246-9901, extension 0, tell them you're putting down a deposit for Alice Little for whatever date it is that you choose, time to be determined (we'll work that out once we can text), and then give them the billing info for your tiny 10% deposit. That easy. Then, you just email me back here for my number :) We could be texting by the end of the night and having fun planning our encounter!

Did you have a particular date in mind for your visit? Where are you traveling from? Would you like to tell me a little about yourself and your interests and hobbies? It might surprise you to find out if we have a lot in common!

~Alice

CBJ are due to pimps because they have to keep up the facade of romance with providers in order to keep them under control.  Thus this involves the pimps kissing the providers and since pimps are germphobic they require the providers to use party hats for the cbj.

Um.... no.   CBJ is a county law, nothing to do with the "pimp".  And I worked as a dominatrix at a brothel, so I was never "under control", as you so speak.  lol

I know this gal and worked at the brothel across the street from her.  And yes,  when you work at a brothel owed by Hoff (both of ours were) it is made very clear that you can turn down any client or any sex act that you do not want to do.  We can also make our own rates, within reason. (Each house has a minimum price and time that you cannot go below)
I also did not (and do not do at all now!) enjoy the act of negotiating.  I worked as a dominatrix at the brothel (and still do as an independent) but was often told that I should be charging double or triple for it as it was considered a niche. I already felt I was charging more than enough.... but I digress.
I request a bit more now as in independent for dominatrix services, but that is really just because it does take more time to plan and execute a dominatrix session vs. a regular escort session.  I think my donation requests are fair and reasonable.
And yes, we are selling intimacy and not sex.  Why else would men not seek out and pay more for GFE sessions? It is about kissing, cuddling, touching, connecting.  If it was just about sex the one shot and done girls would be making way more than I do!!!!

What is the minimum pricing??

Also this sort of price fixing violates federal anti trust laws.

LOL.... um, no.  First of all when you work at a legal brothel you are not an employee, you are an independent contractor, so no, no violation of anti trust laws as those are to promote healthy competition between corporations and businesses.
House minimum pricing in legal brothels is really set among the girls that work there as well as the brothel to prevent new and also not business savvy girls from being taken advantage of and also to keep the integrity of brothel.  It is of course not a law but more of a rule followed.

Clearly this violates the Sherman Anti Trust Act.

Any agreement to fix minimum prices is a violation and the fact that each provider is an independent contractor or not because each of them have conspired to set a minimum price.

Keep me posted on the outcome of your lawsuit!!!

I would need standing to sue.  Specifically I would need the $500 to pay for an appointment at Hof's overpriced ranch to show that I had been price discriminated against.  Of course I would also need gas and hotel room (or ideally a cargo van where I could just boon dock in Pahrump) plus gas.  Also I would need a 24 Hour Fitness gym membership for shower use while in Nevada.  Sounds like we need a gofundme for this suit similar to the 9th Circuit case Dave posted about.

Zero experience or knowledge of the Nevada houses but isn't the minimum more or less linked to the House Fee?  The house wants X per hour for the room and amenities to cover their costs (electric bill, water bill, laundry, ...) and everything else ABOVE that minimum is negotiable.  A true nympho could agree to X (minimum; house fee) plus ZERO, right?
.
Couldn't the house just state "House fee = X per hour.  Everything else optional and negotiable."
.
(Does the house also get a percentage of the service fee, too? E.g.,
X + 1 hour at $1000. House gets X only or X + $100?
4X + 4 hours at $5000. House gets 4X only or 4X + $500?)

The full fee is the most you can scam a client out of.  They are taught negotiation skills to get the highest dollar for a session.
Then the house gets I belive 50%.  Its like dickering at a used car lot.

OK. But the idea of a having a "minimum" is not restraint of trade or anti-trust or anything else like that. It is a minimum to ensure that the House gets to cover their costs. Then, whatever else happens, happens.
.
It's like taking a taxi (taxi: not Uber or Lyft). There is a minimum charge for the first fraction of a mile. Then the meter keeps ticking.
NYC: $2.50 for the first 1/5 mile + 40 cents per 1/5 after that.
Boston: $2.60 minimum + $2.80 per mile (56 cents per 1/5)

No a minimum is restraint of trade because the providers are prohibited from offering a lower price than the minimum.  There is no evidence that the lower price (let's say $60 for a bbbj) is going to cause the house to loose its expenses.  Indeed cheap hotels in the middle of the desert in Nevada can be had for $40 and casinos (excluding the resort fees can be had for deals less than $40 a night on Sunday through Thursdays).  Thus, the house can operate with just charging a $50 per day admission fee to each provider.  In fact, that is the business model in Germany, where providers are charged a daily fee of around $50 euros to enter the poon club.  There is no percentage taken from providers in Germany and in fact, the reverse price controls (forced maximum prices occurs)!  The maximum price controls are the way to go and I have no problem with that and in fact encourage forced maximum price controls, not forced minimum price controls like the terrible Hof (which this word means courtyard in German as in Haptbahnhof - train yard)
