Legalization of Prostitution Argument

An argument for legalization that should pass muster.

laws are not enacted or repealed based on logic but by the often illogical stance of the public at large, whom the politicians must kowtow to if they are to be elected.

The question then is:  How do we influence the public so that the laws are changed?

The moral onus on anyone advocating these changes puts a big damper on the likelyhood of a mass movement starting, especially in the moral climate in this country today.

You are confusing rational logical thought with a religious/political position, and the two are apparently incompatible in this day and age.

yeah there also have been longitudinal [spell?] proving that life is better and safer for legal pros than illegal, and prostitution is much less of a social ill when johns dont hide from the cops, and it can be monitored and TAXED!

It wont be legalized for 2 reasons:
1. bible thumping sexually repressed morons run this country (god help us, no pun intended)
2. 99% of johns aren't about to lobby the government for legalization.
