well I guess I am writing this a little late, but it's not as bad as it seems. What I mean is. As humans we freak out because it's police.We never think it will happen until it happens to us.
Stop and be logical don't let your emotions fuck you up. This is a misdemeanor, first of all, first time offenders more than likely get cases like this dismissed, because juoros hate cops setting women up. Get the cash together and find a decent lawyer. Use your best judgement on finding representation and screen the attorneys don't go with your first choice.
Ask them how many cases similiar to yours,they have worked with, what is the stats on trials etc.. it is very important.
