Hotel Question

Hi everybody. I am a San Diego provider and I am thinking about visiting Vegas for a weekend. I would like some suggestions as far provider friendly hotels that are around or near the strip. Usually I just use hotwire to get a hotel room but very recently I ended up staying in a hotel that required the use of a room key to start the elevator. Thanks in advance for your help.

As a guy, I might not as concerned with hotel security but given that this is Vegas and people tend to gawk at some of the oddest things, some of the hotel properties (esp at the casinos) tend to have security at the guest elevators so the riff raff aren't running around the guest floors with their shenanigans.  As a lady, I'm sure you don't want to be staying at a place that allows just anyone to walk around your floor.

This being Vegas, I don't think security cares how many different guys come up and down the elevators with you.  They just want to make sure that the facilities are being used by the people staying there.  Just meet them in a public part of the hotel (or casino) and bring them up.

BTW, I was reading an article in a recent issue of InBusiness Las Vegas and they mentioned a book, Priceline for Dummies, and the author of the book talking about how the deals in Las Vegas aren't very good since the hotels and airlines don't release a lot of stuff to the bidding services.  You might do better with an agency back home that offers packages to Vegas or one of the services that's focused on Vegas like vegas.com, lasvegas.com or travelaxe.com (the last being promoted by the Las Vegas Advisor).
