I had an appointment with Veronica last Friday that she missed, which was unlike her. I received a call in my room at the hotel Sunday afternoon from a friend of hers saying that she was killed in a car accident & she asked me to post it on TER. She was upset, so I did not press her for details. The story I found in the las Vegas paper was not about her accident, I found out later. Her website was closed on Monday when I checked. I'm told that she, at one time, worked for pretty maids.

I think her friends wanted her to remain unknown, which I respect.

She was delightful to talk with on the phone, a wonderful lady.

It was on the news the night it happened. I believe it happened on Camino El Norte & Lone Mountain.

I'm still shocked by this!!  I was strongly considering seeing her on my next trip.  By the reviews, She sounded like a wonderful person.

Do you remember what day that was, Kadi? I didn't see anything about it in the paper, and I searched hard. Veronica didn't drive, so she would have had to have been a passenger. I'm still in a state of shock over this and any info you can provide would help.

I believe I know the accident in question. Did it happen early that morning? If so, I was in traffic that got re-routed. I never got the chance to meet her, but her photos and reviews looked great.

I am shocked as well.  Got to see her for the first time on my last trip to LV in March.  She was an amazing person.  It really is tragic -- just the nicest and most sincere girl you would ever meet.  She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her I am sure.

Yes it was in the morning I can't remember what day it was though. I think it was on FOX5 news. Maybe check their website?
