Yes, you're over-thinking and over-analyzing this. Read the reviews, pick a lady you like, who offers the services you enjoy, and who has many positive reviews, and set a date. Most of us had the same concerns and trepidations as you do when we started. But if you do your homework the hobby can be a lot of fun, especially in Vegas where everything is available.

I definitely think its safe to read reviews to know if your desires will be met especially if multiple reviews skate a similar experience. Then you really don't need to discuss anything with her. I send out an email to my dates after they have screened asking them to answer a few questions for me so i can make the experience exactly what you would want. This gives you a chance to share without it being  awkward .  I'm not sure if I will be available. The dates that you are looking for however, check my website I might be in town.

First, I'm not a companion but I can definitely relate to feeling nervous and unsure about discussing "specifics" to someone you haven't met before.      Sooooo, if possible, I would suggest booking a dinner date with someone who interests you.  By doing so, you can talk to the companion and get a sense of her headspace, etc., before deciding what to discuss and how deep to go.  Yes, it will cost more BUT with the right companion, it can be a great way to ease into things.

 
It doesn't necessarily have to be dinner, specifically, but maybe meet for drinks first or whatever.  The point is, have some time to get to know the companion a little first.  That might be turn into a fun time of flirtation, adding to the anticipation of what's to happen later.
