Las Vegas 35+ partying

Will be visiting Sin City later this month. I'm looking for a nightclub that caters to the 35+ age group. It's gets kind of boring going to those kiddie clubs at my age. Please help.

Sadly, the majority of the nightclubs in Vegas target the key demographic - young people.

I notice that Studio 54 (MGM) attracts a slight older crowd. I don't know if it is still there, but I recall "The Nightclub" at the LV Hilton cater to a slight older crowd on certain nights.

Its not a nightclub, but Cleopatras Barge at Casears is also suppose to be for an older crowd.

I saw something interesting on the Travel Channel Cable Network a couple of weeks ago.  Now, the Travel Channel must be owned by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau, it has so much Las Vegas programing, but this was interesting.

The show was something like "10 Things You Need to Know About Las Vegas."  One of the 10 things had to do with the "hot" nightclubs.  They interviewed the General Manager of one of the clubs, RA at the Luxor if I remember correctly.  He stated that men alone (i.e., single or a group of men) are not admitted to the clubs.  That is, they must be accompanied by women. (The same does not apply to women, women are admitted any time.)  He also said it is pretty much the same way at the other clubs.

So don't go there hoping to hook up with someone.  If you want to go, bring a date.

I don't know if this is true, I'm only passing along information I saw on TV.  And remember, it was directly from a club General Manager.

Might want to stick with some of the ultra lounges in the strip hotels. MGM, Venetian, Bellagio all have them. Napoleons in the Paris is very nice if you like jazz, champagne and cigars.

Ghost Bar and Vodoo Lounge off the strip are pricey sky lounges with great views, pricey covers and drinks, but I've never been there on a weekend night(on purpose) and have always been with an escort when visiting.MfSD>>>>

Depends on what you want.  Yes, lots of young people at the popular clubs these days but I have two words, bottle service.  At almost any club worth its salt will have bottle service, a reserved table, hostess/waitress, VIP entrance, etc.

The alternative is to hit the strip clubs and have them clear space for you and your crew.

The question you need to ask is what do you want outta your nightclub experience?  What are you used to?  Do you have any musical preferences?  Do you care if it caters to the gay/lesbian/TS/TV community?
