Going to Vegas for a poker tournament and getting out of the frozen January tundra.  Since I'll be alone on this trip, figure I'll hobby a bit.  First question, since I'll be staying at the Nugget, are there any concerns with bringing a young lady to my room?
Second question, reviews of the Nugget

Best property downtown. Stayed in one of the two level suites once with the electronic, drop down black out shades.  Decent buffet and restaurants and their pool is in the middle of the hotel so even if it's cold, you can probably at least hang out poolside. Never hobbied there.

rooms for privacy, would be in the Rush Tower. It is away from the main casino games, close to the parking structure for easy access, valet parking, nice rooms and NO security concerns for the ladies. GN is a great choice.

No concerns for a lady to get up to your room. That should be no problem.
Rush tower rooms are very nice that is the newest tower in the hotel.
The other towers the rooms have been remodeled they are nice too.
Or if you are really looking for some awesome suites try the Spa Tower(2 story suite with staircase fabulous!!!)
Great steakhouse Vic & Anthony's inside the hotel as well as other dining choices that are in the hotel or close walking distance.
Have fun!

I've visited there a couple times. Nice place with a couple great restaurants as well, just a bit older... But for Fremont St, it is definitely the top dog... Never had a problem with security there...

Very nice suite (Rush tower) and also enjoyed the drinks at the Chart House. Great choice in Downtown!

Absolutely one of my favorite hotels. I've stayed in anything from their basic rooms to the suites and have never been disappointed. To answer your question though, I've met a few clients there and never had a problem;.

Don't forget about the Charthous, but Vic and Anthony's is my favorite steakhouse in LV.

due to the Freemont experience. No concerns for meeting there in my case. :)
Enjoy your stay and good luck at the tables!

If you stay in any of the club or suite rooms you'll have to use a key card in the elevator. Which obviously means meeting her in the lobby/casino/bar...Which you may or may not be ok with. Last time I went I was with several friends all staying and gambling there...so meeting downstairs I got a little worried about not being discrete enough.
