I assume you are referring to NHRA, which is next weekend, Thurs thru Sunday.  SEMA is the following Tuesday thru Friday.

Well, cars and ladies! I just bought a new Scion FRS and looking for some parts for the intake and a few other mods. Don't know that much about the cars, but it would be awesome to meet someone to show me around.

First Sema, probably not the last

it is a lot of fun! I have a car that I am currently modding out and want to look at some stuff for it and get some good contacts!!! It is just exciting to have that much stuff in one place!!!!!!!

^^^ I think it's awesome to see ladies into cars too.   Sema is total eye candy for car enthusiasts, but it's more of a wholesale/dealer type atmosphere, rather than selling to the public.   Nonetheless, I'm certain that the different vendors can steer you towards local dealers for their products.  I'll be there as well and can't wait.   I'm more into the VIP scene, and the cars that some  of the shops break out for SEMA are unbelievable.

yeah, I stick around after the races. use to meet up with my boss out there for the show but we don't get the invite for the convention anymore.

I have one as a daily driver and trackday car and it's a fun little ride. Already did an exhaust, suspension mods, stereo, and wheels and tires on mine but most of my money goes to my other car -  another hot import car that just came back from a $46K 1000hp build lol.

Wish I could be at Sema but if you need some advice on modding your Scion (or any other car) I'd be happy to give you tips :)
