Hi, a prospective client has provided a reference of an escort that advertises on Eros, but with no website and only one review from 2002.  The review was very good, but why would she have only one?

I've e-mailed her, but if she doesn't get back to me then how can I count his reference?  What do you girls do if a client gives a reference for someone who may not be real or doesn't respond to you?

If I don't feel comfortable with the info/lack of info provided by prospective clients then I don't see them. There are two good reasons for this:  one, he may not be who he says he is and could possible be some sort of threat to you;  two, he could be the coolest guy in the world but if you are worried about it then you won't be relaxed with him and neither of you will have a good time.

If I feel suspicious or uncomfortable then I don't see them and I think that's the best thing for both of us.

i would think there are alot of out of town visitors that dont have the oppurtunity to hobby in small town america....thats why we visit1    how would you handle that situation ie, no references?

That brings up a good point. What about us guys that only get to Las Vegas once a year. You get home and post a review of your last trip and hope the lady will be kind enough to remenber when you need her to say that you a real person.

Well, he wanted to see me and Kevin and Kevin didn't like the sound of it, so we said no.  There were other things that were weird.  He also said that he contacted us a year ago, but I couldn't find any record of it.  I asked him what e-mail he used before and he never answered the question.

I will see guys without a reference, but I use my intuition and knowledge of LE.  If it is last minute, chances are good that I am "busy".

I have been in the hobby for less than six months(I'm a pretty young guy (21), college student in fact), and it is something I just don't do very often. I'll be in Las Vegas on the 18th till the 21st, and it will be my first time there. I have only seen one provider twice here in Tampa, and have reviewed her recently. I don't know if her reference will actually work because her screening process is almost non-existent (meaning she does not get to know her clients well), and she probably doesn't remember me anyway. What is cool about her is that I don't have to be a "high roller" or an old businessman to see her.

So, I've been working on this trip to Vegas for about a year (I'm a big boxing fan, going to Morales-Pacquiao on the MGM, although I'm not staying there). I've saved a good amount of $$$ for this trip, and would love to see one of the beautiful providers the city has to offer. But for many reasons [my age, lack of references, not being able to provide a work phone # (because I'm working full time on my M.A.)], it seems I'm not gonna have the chance to make it happen. Don't get me wrong, I understand that because of the nature of this occupation, ladies have to be extra careful with who they decide to meet, and also understand that most people of my age are broke and/or drunk 75% of the time... so it is understandable why many established providers would not even think about seeing me.  

I haven't tried to set any appts. yet because of this factor. But, given the nature of this thread, I thought it would be a good idea to share my situation with the expert hobbyists and providers around.

In any case, Viva Las Vegas and I'm still very excited about going.

Kadi, it is a pick 'em fight. So many factors to consider, but I'm with you... leaning towards Pacquiao, but Morales as an underdog is so dangerous...
