I will be staying at the Rio in the upcoming week for my first time, I would like to partake with the higher class of working ladies,  would the VooDoo lounge be my best non-gambling bet?

Are you looking to meet someone at the VooDoo lounge or take someone to the VooDoo lounge  ..

To meet someone at the VooDoo. Thanks.

Some girls hang out at the Masquerade Village Bar, the remainder hang out at Shutters Bar (AKA Hooker Bar). However, if this is your first trip to Vegas, may I suggest booking time with a well known provider say 4-6 hours and have dinner up at the VooDoo cafe. If you decide to try your luck down at the bars, the first night or two I would "window shop". You might wind up with the wrong girl and you'll have memories, an empty wallet, and sexually unfulfilled if you catch my meaning... :-)

Having done both the Shutter Method (Hooker Bar, have to remember that one!!) and taken a provider to dinner I would recommend the prearranged dinner date.  It is much easier to meet women for a later rendevous when you are with another women. It's hard to look inconspicuous (sp) going lone wolf. Just show respect to your date while your looking.  You'll both have fun looking if she's in on your game. If you go with the Shutter method be sure to flip the bartender a ten spot, he'll understand your request and steer you towards a gal.

That is the worst thing you can do and most likely they will throw the money back into your face. These guys are not going to risk losing their jobs and/or get arrested for "pimping" (which is a felony in Nevada). Working swing or graveyard as a bartender in a Strip Hotel is a highly coveted job which usually takes several years (most had to start as barbacks at the same hotel) and lots of "juice" (favors) just to be considered for the position.

Over time, you may earn the Bartender's respect and trust, but he will NEVER arrange/steer/recommend a date for you. As a "customer", you can expect 3 things from your bartender:

1) To serve you drinks
2) Listen to your life story
3) If you happen to catch "Raider Russ" working graveyard at Shutter's, he'll tell you 1,000,001 jokes - most of which are funny. :-)

Cheese, as always good points.  That's what worked for me...but better to not put your barkeep in harms way.  And yes, Raider Russ has a million of 'em.  I would avoid him tonite after the thrashing the Bucs put on his team.  Thanks Cheese!!

I'm surprised it did - but this is a public forum if you know what I mean:-)...

As for Russ, he's off on Sundays and Mondays but I bet Max is laughing his ass off - unless he lost a bundle on the game. I'll probably see him this Thursday - hopefully by that time he would have gotten over it... but I wouldn't hold my breath :-)...

Last time I was in Vegas during Thanksgiving, I had a real fun time swapping jokes with both Russ and Chris.  We had the working girls rolling off their seats.  Chris was also nice enough to let me sample some of the most expensive drinks in the house ($300 a shot).  I also have to say that the cocktail waitresses were extremely hot.  I can't wait to visit Vegas again soon...
