I know the topic is out of the ordinary, but after reviewing a number of places thought I would make the inquiry here

The several I looked at were all off the strip; none inside any of the hotels.  It's better to get personal recommendations from the folks who live in LV.  I already have the piece picked out, the location of where I want it.  Now it's a matter of finding the right place and artist.

Visit and interview the artists that you are considering to find out if it's someone that does the type of artwork that you're looking for. See their previous work, portfolio and their personality and style.
And definitely check reviews
Have fun !  Let us know who you pick :-)

Off of Charleston & Maryland, all artist are pretty great but I highly recommend Chico or Jessie...

Making phone calls/inquiries and hopefully the selected artist has sufficient time to accept a short notice/walk-in appt.

Normally I would use my current artist. However, there is a significance to the piece I selected and having it done in Vegas has personal relevance.

I have gotten one tattoo in Vegas. I have looked around but everywhere on the strip or at a major hotel are too high for me. I can get it done half the price in Ohio.  I may have to check out these places listed.

Find someone who does a style you like as well as seeing firsthand their work not just their portfolio. It's a common trend in the business to steal images just like here. How would you know if the tattooer did the piece he/she is taking credit for or not. A tattoo is forever and you should invest time and energy into finding someone who is good, not convenient or affordable.

Please feel free to message me about what to look for in an artist and I can see if I can suggest anyone in the area.

On a TV show a guy was based in Vegas but IDK if he still is... He goes by Sausage - he was VERY talented. Here is a link to some of his work. http://revolttattoos.com Near the Hard Rock. Also Joey is good there too.

He's done some really great work on my son and his friends.
And! If you are not into loud guns, his is amazingly quiet.
