I'll take Canadian cash at par.

Ladies ….  The US dollar is killing our fun time. The exchange is around 20 cents on the dollar. I did a quick on line calculator exchange and for 1000 roses US it will cost 1247.50 Canadian roses.

May I suggest you promote a special rate for us guys from Canada? Myself, I wanted to meet two ladies last January but had to decline as it killed my budget.

Just a thought

I believe in the exchange rate!  I am willing to comply.  Willing and Ready, email me to let me know when you guys get there.

with the money they save from having free healthcare compared to us here in the states they don't need a discount.

That's pathetic. It's bad enough that you come to the states and don't tip at restaurants. Now you're asking for a discount in vegas. That's balls.

Anyone else asking for any type of "special" or "discount."

Here's a thought for everyone..
Set aside your play funds.
If you can afford $100 hands of blackjack, play them! If you can't, find a $15 table.
How much can you afford for provider play time? Search for someone in your price range.

Going to meet a stranger who wants to offer less than what you ask isn't the best way to introduce yourself. How would you feel if we showed up and decided that today we didn't want to have sex?

Very poor tippers. It's built into the bill. Their servers make higher hourly wages.

Instead of asking ladies if they will honor a discount rate due to you being Canadian why not find a lady who is in your price range? There are many ladies here that have all kinds of rates find one or more that fits in your budget.I have seen many canadian gents who have visited vegas and none have asked for a discount due to where they live.People from all over the world visit vegas every day can you imagine how that would go over if everyone asked this?
From the responses seems the consensus is hobby in your budget with a couple who actually entertained your suggestion.Do what works for you but don't come on a public board asking for discounts due to where you live.

Min fed wage in the states is $7.something
Canada is $10.something lowered to $9.xx in some areas for severs.

Many states in America have a tip credit. Some states servers make federal state wage or slightly higher. I used to cocktail for Pure, we were union and made $11.83 on the clock/hour plus benefits and auto 20% grat. We only tipped out the bar and porter.

I love to travel and the whole tipping and wages is something that is always brought up. Other countries are starting to pick up on this mainly North American trend. I actually felt weird not tipping the manicurist when I was in Sydney. Sometimes I feel that they expect it from Americans... Then when I remember that min wage is $16.xx an hour.. When I travel I tend to ask the younger trendier people around me what they do. I don't mind tipping for good service, I just don't want to go way above and beyond or way under. I mean.. If someone left 15c at Starbucks they wouldn't give a crap, but it all adds up... If someone leaves $0 they give the same crap and a whole bunch of 0 doesn't add up to anything but 0. :)

But, really.. The OP should just budget what he can and have fun with it. Next up we will start charging DC residents more and Wyoming less.. (Only based on their min wage)
Xoxo

Tipping is only built into the bill in a very few restaurants and usually only for large party bookings. Servers make the same minimum wage everyone else does. Tipping is standard 15%, on the pretax total, with alcohol excluded.

the daily international currency exchange? Should the ladies accept Yen from Japan, Pesos from Mexico, Baht from Thailand etc...WTF! Maybe I can use monopoly currency since I live in a plastic green house and own two plastic red hotels on Park Place in the city of Mattel. This is America and the currency is dollars, so either use dollars or hobby in Canada.

causing such a ruckus over what I thought was a simple question. It was never my intentions to insult the ladies.
My company offered discounts to our US customers when times were tough on your side of the fence to keep good faith and it paid off in repeat business. Repeat business is the best business.
In regards to tipping, I can’t speak for all Canadians but I tend to tip very well when I visit your country 20 – 25% and in Vegas I tip my CW at lest $5 per drink and more if the trip is going well.
There is also a big misunderstanding regarding health care. Yes, we do receive “Free” health care but we also pay way more in taxes on every item purchased. The old expression “Nothing is free” definitely applies here.
I thank you for any honest suggestions and offers put forth in this thread

You tip 20-25% on dinners and $5 per drink?
And you're asking for a discount from a call girl?

Just want to make sure I'm reading this right..

Hooking up with a call girl isn't a necessity.. So I'm not sure why one would have to discoint to a visitor from a foreign country..
Repeat business is the best business, you are correct.. How does that apply to you? I can't speak for everyone, but I'm sure the majority of us hook up our regulars from time to time.. Just like they hook us up from time to time..

Oh well.. It doesn't really matter.. Good luck and you had a couple of takers, I would just reach out to them. Or, like others suggested.. Find your budgeted US funds and find a lady in that range.

up front with the ladies and you will be fine. There is nothing wrong with asking on the board, but just be aware that there are some who post that are serious and some that like to have fun posting their comments. The main thing is to be safe and have fun in this Hobby world.
