So i am making a trip Vegas mid September  and i would love to treat a lovely provider to a dinner date.
Staying at the Cosmo, there are so many choices i dont know how i could choose one....lol  I am not going to a top of the line place and i am not plaaning on packing a dress shirt and tie.

Should i ask the provider thlo choose, i am not picky, or should i do research  and pick one?  If the latter what are some places that i should consider  above others?  Thanks in advance 👍

But, as a huge fan of Patricia Cornwell's writing, I'm biased ;-)  If yourself and the lady you choose are amenable to modern Italian cuisine, it's a mid-priced & highly reviewed selection.

I would say let your date pick. I have eaten a few places in the cosmo and enjoyed them all. And no need for a shirt and tie, well maybe a shirt because they frown on topless dinning...go figure

ask the provider if she is allergic to any type of foods or if she does not eat (vegan) certain types of foods. Otherwise I would choose either DelFrisco's for some great steaks or Hugos Cellar for classic Vegas dining, where they still give every lady a complementary rose. Checkout Yelp.com, Las Vegas restaurants for more restaurant choices and see their menus.

I often let my date make some recommendations and then choose from one of those.  That way you're sure to go to a place that you will both enjoy.

I would suggest asking the provider you are interested in if there is any foods that she is allergic to or does not like to eat.Or some her favorite foods that way you can get an idea of where to or where not to go.
I like Blue Ribbon Sushi at Cosmopolitan or STK their steakhouse.
Or at the Aria you can try Jean George steakhouse (food is fabulous)or his first location at Bellagio Prime steakhouse.Bar Masa sushi at Aria another favorite.
I also have eaten at Craftsteak at the MGM and the food was great but I liked Jean Georges better.
No need to wear a dress shirt and tie unless you want to.
Good luck and have fun!

Those a few favorite recommendations from a foodie obsessed provider... if you want the ultimate dining experience then "e" at Jose Andres is really the only way to go! You have to email in advance for reservations and they only allow 8 people for each of the 2 seatings per evening!

A slight warning STK has a DJ after about 8 pm and it makes it pretty loud to enjoy a normal level of conversation so if you're looking for more of an intellectual conversation/connection I would say Scarpetta or "e" would be the better choice at the Cosmo!

It might be nice to order in room service.
Then the fun never has to end with your companion.
You can be topless if you want :)

Cosmo has a few nice places to eat...most restaurants in Vegas will not require a tie or jacket.

Cosmo:
Jaleo - can get busy and loud, tables too close together.
STK - very nice steak place, but expensive...

You can walk across the bridge to PH, Aria...or down to Bellagio.

Probably the best place to eat with views:

Yellowtail at Bellagio
Eiffle tower at Paris
Prime at Bellagio
Scarpetta at Cosmo

If you are thinking of taking a nice lady, once you arrange to meet her, i would ask her preference.

Although if you are staying at Cosmo.....Best choice could be room service.....great rooms, balconies (get fountain view).

have fun.

Where else are you gonna go when you arrive at her hotel at 10pm but she usually runs late til almost 11 or 12midnight.  By the time you're done and ready to eat (OTC), it's 1:30 or 2am!

Where I'm from, it's not like vegas, some cities actually sleep. lo

from the east coast so never seen in and out before only heard of them until I went to the one across I-15 near NY NY and MGM. very good burgers and shakes but omg the lines there were horrific. im guessing that one was filled with mostly tourist like myself since it so close to the strip.it looked like black Friday holiday shopping at the mall. worth the wait though

I tend to eat at Carnegie's at the Mirage. No dress shirt and tie are required there, its open 24 hours a day, plus the food portions are huge.
