I was going to schedule a layover for a night during this week in Vegas, Until I saw the ridiculous room rates.

Anyone know what is happening that week. Too early for March Madness.

I looked up some colleges and many have spring break scheduled for this week or the following week.

Ok, now that I have aged myself.

I just checked Priceline, Hotwire and travelwire.

Hotels downtown are within their usual rates for the dates you gave. There are some good places to stay downtown.
North strip hotels are also not much more than their usual rate

Circus circus is still $31............. HAHAHA just kidding!!! .. not about the price.. but I wouldn't even  send my ex husbands to stay there (although I do have a funny story about someone who did that .. for another time perhaps
