All due respect - can heavy set be beautiful? Attractive OK. Reubenesque - works but beautiful is a very high standard particularly when applying it to oneself.

First let me say that I much prefer bigger women.  I think a voluptuous woman is much more sexy and loveable than a smaller woman.  This is not to say that smaller women are not sexy, just that I personally prefer women who have more curves than smaller women.  The women I have seen and see again and again are alot more voluptuous than the average person would like to see.

But society right now has but the emphasis on being skinny and  undernourished as being beautiful, and if you are anything above a size 7 or so, you are considered automatically not beautiful by some people because of that.  I do not agree with that for multiple reasons, not the least of which is that I am probably 60 pounds overweight myself.  In fact many many years ago, a larger woman was considered much more beautiful simply because she was considered much more fertile.

My own personal opinion is that beauty is much more than body type and size.  In fact beauty is much more than looks.  If I see a woman who is self-confident, strong, knows who she is, and in general is able to handle herself in any situation, she is beautiful to me.  The most beautiful women I know are not known as "beauty queens" by others.

As I have said many times to many people, there is something beautiful in everyone.  With some it is skin deep, with others it is much more than that.

As to the woman who started this thread, you might not turn the head of captron, but you would certainly turn mine.  In fact if I saw you in public, I might have fantasies about you.

I am reminded of the Christine Aguilera song "Beautiful" Which says "I am beautiful, no matter what you say; Words can't bring me down."
