Best outdoor stuff to do?

I'm going to be there a full week this winter.  I already think I want to try a real skydive (but I think the lady may be too chicken because she wouldn't do the balloon ride last time, lol).  I can see where a sailplane ride would be cool if they are available.  But I need some other outdoor stuff suggestions.

Best golf course?  I don't really consider myself a golfer, but I love to walk a beautiful course early in the morning, playing perhaps 9 holes.

Best hiking spots?

I've heard about the 4-wheeler rides, probably want to do that, where is it?

Other suggestions?
thanks, bh

Brown, start by going to LasVegas.com  most of your answers can be found there, under attractions and tours .. as for golf it's not cheap .. you might want to work through your hotel on that one .. if you don't mind the drive Primm has a very nice course and there are some excellent courses in Mesquite (North of Vegas)again it's a drive.  As for skydiving .. you can go as a double or you can go to the fly away which simulates sky diving without the height.  Hiking spots and 4 wheelers no better place then red rock, something I always wanted to do was the horseback ride and dinner through red rock canyon at sunset  .... have fun ...p
