I have never been to Vegas and since I live in the middle of no where I don't have experience with tipping for things besides dining out. I'm just a simple farmboy :D. So if anyone has input on if it is proper to tip and about how much. Oh and how to hand over the tip.
 Valet
 room service
 Dealer at 5-25 $ table
 anyone else?

Also if I set up my first "date" And I decide I want to tip how would I do that? Just tell her and hand it to her or would that be a no no?

Thank you for any answers. I know this might seem like common sense but I just don't.

Valet $5-10
Room Service or restaurant- 18-20% of your bill
Dealers-not sure what the etiquette is on this as I do not gamble.
All of the above just hand them a tip no biggie.
For a provider tipping is not required however greatly appreciated.
Tip a provider whatever you feel is best there is no wrong amount.
You could just add the tip to the envelope with her donation.
I always say a return visit is the best tip but when I receive a tip I do appreciate it whatever the amount.
Have fun

Not common sense to know, and an excellent post. You tip depending upon how happy you are with your services.  Some love to over tip in Sin City. lol 15-20% is generous.  I prefer cash tips, or casino chips. Smile 4 me!

Valet is free, but tip.

* Always toss the dealer a piece if your feeling taken care of at their table & spend hours with 1 particular dealer.

I tip the bus boys, cabana help, bar tenders, anyone who helps serve, or service, and concierge too

for pretty much everything.  The only thing I haven't done but plan to do is get the "free" limo ride to a strip club.  Any idea on how much to tip the driver?  Sorry to piggyback on your question.  I just thought of this while I was answerin

My wife and I usually tip limo driver to strip club $30 or so , that way you have no problem getting them to take you back to your hotel when you are finished

Way to difficult to arrange tipping in this biz.  Just bring a present at the beginning.

your car valet    $5

 taxi valet   $2

maid  $5 on your pillow first night

dealer - really depends on how you are doing but certainly one chip of value min.

strip club driver  if with others $5  if by yourself $10  ( i give $20 but thats just me)

providers - not necessary if was over $400 - sometimes i give $20 as they leave to cover cost of valet or taxi as a thank you.

bell hop - depends on # of bags   min $5  or $2 per piece ... which means when with my wife its $20  LOL

 cabana wait person  20%

and someone usually not appreciated .. waitresses at strip clubs .. i usually give $30 min no matter what ..  they are the only girls really working !!

strip club host  min $20 if you want him to find you a hot girl.   $100 and he will find you a girl who
does  "extras"  its not pimping ... its a friend introducing another friend   :)

sky cap at airport  $2 per piece checked in.

taxi 20% or $5 min.   sometimes they have to wait over an hour for your $9 fair between hotels.

It's a free limo ride. Here's a good article that explains why. Along with many other tidbits that can help distract you at the office... ;)

I usually tip at least $5 at the buffet if im by myself because im just eating my fill and on my way. But if Im going with a group knowing were going to spend a lot of time hogging up the table for quite sometime I personally throw in a couple more bucks per person. besides most of the time they are usually always great with taking away plates and always showing up with drink refills and never tried to rush us out.

Very True, call the strip club directly for free transportation, tip the driver a $20 at particular times YMMY on getting rides back, mostly depending how busy they are, heck after all ask the driver if he can take you back for a tip = $20 (your on vacation away from home what's  the hurry if you wait an extra 5-10 minutes for a limo)

And I may overdo it, but I think people there work very hard, and are very appreciative when they get a tip.  So, when I go I always have my bank give me lots of tens for the valet, luggage person, and waitresses even in the buffet.  I have never been with a provider, so I don't know anything about that situation.  I intend to remedy it when I go to the Aria for my birthday in May.  I appreciate all the guidelines given here.
