Dear providers

I've 2 questions.
I'm European and I would like to contact a provider. But there is one small problem: after the email there will be contact by phone. The problem is I've no voice. How can such a problem be solved? Can sombody become a go between if I fancy a provider without email?

Kind regards,

P. Cornel

There's a service deployed, at least here in the United States to assist the deaf and the mute in using the telephone system.  A special service converts spoken speech coming in over the phone to displayed text on a special device called a TDD or Telephone Device for the Deaf.  The recipient can reply by typing on the keyboard of the TDD, and the service converts it back into speech for the other party.

Many public libraries in the US have TDDs for public use.  Perhaps there's a similar, interoperable system in the UK.  I don't know if the communications are "monitored" or recorded, which might be an issue if you want to use this kind of service for communicating with providers.

I hope this helps.
