Too many providers either ignore them or abuse them. One provider has dished out over 100 of them to hobbyists that she hasn't even seen.
Perhaps. But I would still think some are better than none. I have to admit that seeing even one or two adds a layer of comfort to my decision to see someone. Seeing none at all- wrongly or rightly- instills a bit of discomfort.
Naturally you were a lot thinner back then and had a much higher rate. I am taking about 7 years ago maybe 8.
Not a logical reason unless maybe a way to deny culpability if caught on TER.
They may have some from ladies who have fallen out of favor and they no longer want to be associated with them. Some guys don't even know what they are and just want to hide as much info as they can. Others are just to cool to have a heads up from some woman.
Can a guy delete any of his white lists? Can a woman un-whitelist someone?
Some women get pissy over who you've seen. Or not seen. Especially helpful for guys who don't review.
For some reason I thought a gentlemen can check a box in their profile to show or not to show whitelists. Not sure what reasoning there would be to hide whitelist though ....

I have been associated with TER since 2007 and It has served me very well, meaning of what I am aware of. There is so much that I am UNaware of, and so far I am unharmed, unknowingly. One answer to your question is that I had one lady removed as a whitelist reference. I sent a message to administration of this board and requested they remove the lady. They verified who I was so a few days later, the whitelist disappeared, for which I am greatful. The reason was the lady misrepresented herself to me.
What you have done by asking your question is: what is a blacklist on TER, and how does it work? I believe their is a venue for ONLY providers to converse and ONLY hobbyists to converse? Who knows what harm or good is done among these participants?
I am totally flabbergasted as how providers choose to verify hobbyists, based on other whitelists or if there are none? Someday I would love to be enlightened! Take Care!
I don't think a guy can delete a whitelist himself, but he can contact TER and I'm sure they would comply with his request.
For me, whitelists are like "OKs" on p411. They certainly aren't the only piece of my screening process, but they help, especially when someone is being cagey about his other info.

If ladies use WL as a main tool for screening they're making a grave error. WL's are traded for good reviews, pulled for bad ones, used to spy by girls on whom a guy sees (why her not come back to me???) withheld for further visits etc. They're a joke. There, ok's can't easily be pulled though guys can delete them if when a BSC gal crashes and burns. I've deleted them before. And deleted a WL from a BSC gal who tried to BM me. And on p411 I can block ladies totally. Not so on ter. Reviews can be seen by anyone. All a guy can do is hide his WL's. It's not much but it's something.

...they have to go to their profile page and check the box to show the White List or it won't show up like Haley mentioned, it doesn't show up automatically. Many guys aren't aware of this so they're not actually hiding their White List.
