Why have a donations page on your website, and then ask us to contact you for rates?  If I see that, you are immediately on my do not contact list!!!!!

but as you know, the reality is we should never discuss rates.  Hence
why those of us who know the proper way to do things, have it all on
our website..

No questions need to be asked...no need to say anymore than that.

I don't understand the mystery either.  As a consumer, I wouldn't bite, no matter what was being sold.  I've visited several small businesses that employ this tactic and leave with my wallet untouched. I think of that expression "if you have to ask...". I spare myself the embarrassment and don't.

"Oh, but you didn't actually read it did you. Let me guess, you saw the pictures then looked for a phone number and skipped everything in between? "

Generally I'm saying this in a jokingly yet sarcastically tone. Guess what,  so far the guys I've said this too have admit this annoying habit (refreshing) and we laugh about it. Then I tell them to go actually read it and I've actually met a few who turned out to be rather decent.

Same goes for General location,  it's in my ads

If you have to ask, you can't afford it! Lol

True or not, it's a terrible way to do business.  I wonder how much business is lost due to that kind of approach.  I totally get wanting to come across as a luxury, high-end provider... but I would hate to turn anyone off because they assumed that I was out of their price range. Not to mention the understandable unease that many hobbyists feel discussing rates with a provider.

If nothing else, this post is a great reminder for providers to check what their websites say! :

My take for what it's worth.

I no longer care whether a provider tells her rates in her advertisement. In fact, I think it's very smart not to place any type of illegal stuff in the advertisement, including a $ figure for service and/or 420 acceptable. These two things, in my opinion, are what gets LE's initial interest. I just assume that a certain quality provider will charge a certain standard rate. There are some that charge somewhat less and some that charge somewhat more. However, in the first text or phone call to the provider one can easily and legally determine her approximate charge. At that time you either agree to her price or just say thank you and hang up. I would never attempt to ask her to take less than she states. If you are interested in booking a provider you have to be willing to pay at least the standard going rate. The standard rate should be pretty obvious to most guys looking for a provider. I sometimes think that a lot of guys are looking for free sex, cheap sex, or a quality provider for Walmart pricing. These type of guys probably turn off or even anger providers by wasting their time.

I don't know how some of these providers stay in the business with what they have to put up with on a daily basis. Not only meeting up with a guy, she has never met, who may look and act like a Rhinoceros , but who may be as dangerous as one. As a man I could never in a million years have sex with an old, ugly, out of shape woman no matter how much money I was offered.

I have asked that sometimes even though I always read everything on a lady's website.  For example, sometimes the rate progressions don't make sense and I want to make sure that the rate is truly what is on the website for the amount of time I have in mind.

You would also be surprised at how many ladies have different rates posted here, on P411 and some of the other sites (not you Jessica, I am just saying in general.)    One would think that the rate on the lady's website would rule but the last thing I want to do is arrive and have the wrong amount in the envelope.

Hey, since I am OCD, I want to get it right :

...I see one set of rates on their web site and a different rate posted in reviews.

I'll never contact a provider for their rates.  If I can't find them posted then I move on.

Maybe shy? Sometimes I am kind of shy to call to initiate an appointment, so text first, and it seems like a basic opener. Unless of course her site says not to discuss rates.  I guess the best opener would just be to ask when she is available since that can change daily and donations will generally remain the same anyway..

the rate on her website is the correct one. She has better control of that than she does the review profile. And her profile may not be up to date.

open with a question of availability. Be specific about this, though, or you'll just look like a time-waster. Have a date or two in mind and ask about those specifically. You should probably make it a general rule to never ask about rates.

Have fun! We love shy guys. ;)

I know someone, not myself, that has general rates on her site but she says 'please contact me for rates' on her ads because she might be willing to do a special but it depends on a few factors as to what that rate it. She doesn't have a car at her disposal all the time so she has to find out where the person lives so that she can factor in cab fare and if she needs to get an Incall she has to know what area they want to book in so that she can see how much the room will cost her. If the client is nearby and she can get a room in the area for a decent rate or use her home Incall then she gives them a better special rate. I see her logic even though I personally will never discuss rates with anyone and I won't even answer emails that discuss rates at all. Just saying maybe that is why you see that from certain ladies sometimes....
