I have not been to Miami in few years and I am shocked at the price of basic hotels. I get free Canes Tickets but will spend about $400 just for a hotel gas and food. A few years ago the same trip was $250 max. When I basic hotels I mean, Hampton, Aloft, Fairfield, Residence Inn and Holiday Inn etc. Not even worth going. Not worth the trip.
