Was reading the news this morning about the fires. Saturday had 0% humidity, and started up more new fires. I've been staying in southern colorado, and the high elevation makes it a bit cooler and so far, no fires have started here. It's very strange to see the rain clouds in the sky, but the precipitation never makes it to the ground. This heat and dry climate just evaporate the moisture before it has a chance to fall. A good rainfall will help! I do hope they can tame these Colorado fires. Breaks my heart that families are losing their homes, forests are burning, and animals in danger. Stay safe my Colorado friends.

I really feel for the people here in Colorado while I'm on tour. I can see smoke in the distance. Some time ago, where I am from, Reno Nevada had some serious fires caused by extreme dryness, warmer than usual weather, and 70 mile an hour winds. I was literally ONE BLOCK away from the fires that rushed across the main highway near my house and into the ravine/canyon near my neighborhood. Many had to be evacuated and I thank God I didn't, but I grabbed my cat and was ready to drive anyways.  Several houses were burned.

It's been extraordinarily hot here. I'm usually a lover of hot weather but even I was dying when I took a walk down to the store from my hotel in the 100 degree afternoon.

I thought maybe there was going to be thunderstorm but there wasn't. Just the clouds.
