A reasonable rate is anything you choose it to be.  Don't get me wrong, it'd be great if prices were lower, but that would be up to you.  In Europe a one hour appointment is somewhere around $150.  But that is where the hobby is legal....so obviously prices will be lower.  Like I said, a 'reasonable rate' is whatever YOU choose it to be, but a 'nice' rate would be between 200-300.  I mean if you think about it 200/hour is a LOT of money....Realistically who makes 200 an hour other than CEO's of fortune 500 companies?

its not the per hour rate but the total cost. i figure 250-275/hr is about what i expect to pay but 400 is to much even if its for 1.5 hours. 275 i can swing every so often but not 400 at 1 crack and i thing alot of guys are in the same boat

I think your rates are perfectly reasonable for the area.  Because of that and the great things I've heard about you, you have been on the top of my "To See" list for a while now.  Hopefully I can work something out with you soon.

$400 is reasonable given your reviews, but like any business, as you raise prices you cut demand.  So the $270 per hour is slightly below going rate BUT you still have to deal with everyday facts.  For example, if I want to see you and can't get to the bank, that means using my ATM card.  Now I don't know about your bank, but I am limited to $300 per day. That alone means that unless I have time to drive to a bank and cash a check OR if I have an extra $100 in my wallet (I have it today, but probably not on a normal work day), I can't see you.  The $400/1.5 hour minimum puts you slightly out of my range unless I have time to kill (and I don't have any of that).

So I guess I am saying, if business is booming, I would raise it to $500 for new people, if business is down, you have to have specials (and keep a mail list so people like me find out you are having a special!)

To me, it is always better to charge more, see fewer people for the same $$$$

But if a client meets your age and qualifications criteria, why not an hour for $350?  Not all of us have the 1.5 hours to indulge.

I for one do have the hours to indulge a 1.5 nonrushed session.  I think your price is very good value and YES I do appeciate the nonrushed service and quality that is provided at the $270 hourly figured rate.  That my friends is hard to argue with when you consider the competition that's out there and what is provided.  If the Chicago area providers were ever to have a "special" olympics I think Sin would bring home the gold.

I think $99/hour is fair since I can always do it myself for free.  Also, I think providers should take personal checks, IOU's or simply trade O's.  If a client has 2 bell rings and the provider has 2, it sounds like a fair deal and everyone should call it even.  Also, gift cards to Wal-mart, Big Lots or Piggly-Wiggly are nice.

Hi, I often pay up to $800 for two hours which may or may not include a gratuity (depending on her rates). I never do 1 hour. The 3 or 4 girls $300 or under that I have seen were disappointments so I stick with the quality I like. Since I have not met you it is difficult to tell, but you may be able to increase your prices a little without losing too many folks. I do not think you should decrease them.

As simple ecomomics will dictate...supply & demand will set your prices. If you are comfortable with the demand of clients on your time then your rates should stand as they are. If you wished to expand your client base (from what your website states you are not into quanity but quality) the lowering your base rate would probably be required, but to the gentlement out there remember...if you may not be able to afford to own a Rolls Royce but it maybe fun to lease one for a short time drive!
