Then there's that possibly HIV-positive guy going around preying on touring ladies with his "Smashing Pumpkins" story, since he's already tried all the locals and we know who he is!! No it's not safe here right now, IMO!

hey tell me about the smashing pumpkins guy. what does he look like? Another provider I know from Florida had seen a guy who was supposedly doing some band thing, she never mentioned the smashing pumpkins, but she did say this guy was hot and decided to tell me all about him on my recent trip to Miami. What a sicko!!!! I can't believe that someone is doing that to all of you. I do wish that there was a way to help you all. Perhaps if there were proof that he has HIV then he could be reported to the local health department and they will do a background on all state residents who have been reported as positive and then they will report his behaviors to the police. What he is doing is very very illegal and he can be arrested and charged with several things because he has just basically and intentionally taken your life, future, and happiness from you and your family.

What's the story with this guy???
She'll screen just as thoroughly as the locals and if she (or any other visitor) has any questions or concerns I'm sure they'll be dozens of Chicago ladies who will help with her safety.
Let's not us use the recent tragedies as an excuse to scare away visiting providers.
By that "Smashing Pumpkins" guy!! He's targeting visitors because the locals all know who he is.
If visitors do tour here, I would say bring a touring buddy so someone knows where they are. And they will have to screen VERY hard!
