Chicago has TONS of amazing restaurants, I was wondering what some of your favorites are?

I want to make sure I don't miss any :)

I hear Parachute is really good but haven't gone yet. Anyone else have thoughts

Pretty obvious.
Or maybe she wants to participate on the board, and your being a jerk.

With that being said, I really want to go to the Aviary, I have not been there yet and hear wonderful things.  Anyone been there? And I also would love to know some peoples favorite hidden gems in Chicago as well.

Betsy and I are always looking for cool places to go in Chi-town.  We know the suburban spots, but the city still has so many options, lol

Wow, thanks for sticking up for me. That guy was clearly being a jerk.

& I haven't been to the Aviary but I hear they have awesome drinks! If you are into drinks, Celeste is fantastic.

If you into spending a decent chunk of money, Grace is really really good.

When business is slow, these topics come up. Go to facebook or start a blog. No wonder this board is dead. Start a hobby related topic at least.

Check your email and you might want to say the types of food you like to go out for.

Oh man, I love this new trend in Tiki bars!

I haven't been to that one yet but I am definitely interested now.

Three Dots & a Dash is where I usually go and I LOVE IT. I always feel so cool because the entrance is down an alley way with a blue light. It makes me feel like I'm in a super secret club. :P

P.S. thanks for apologizing for him :)

If we're going "ethnic" types of food, I'm really into all asian cuisines.
Also dig indian food.

But I also am really into this trend in New American cuisine. Molecular gastronomy stuff always makes the dining more of an experience than just food.

e.g. Alinea, Grace, Moto (R.I.P.)

All the restaurants on Randolph are good, recently went to Maude's Liquor Bar (it's a restaurant) and loved it!

i've taken many ladies out to dinner (tho not in chi town), so this is a perfectly legitimate topic for a regional board.

you obviously want the narcisstic troll board, that's over here

@ 2kG treat yourself to the chefs kitchen table with cocktail and mini appetizer pairings. We had so much fun worth the $22

I have to say whenever I peak into the board and see your post they are friendly, positive, and looking to engage with the community. I've seen enough pointless post on this board so some guy is always going to shame some girl for one thing or another.  If you don't enjoy something move on, there's more then plenty of conversation to be involved with all over the board.

When doing multi hour sessions, I've found myself hungry at halftime. So I got me an alternate grubhub account that lets me order food and drinks to arrive after the first half. I think it just takes away one more potential stress factor (I.e figuring out where to eat) and I get to spend more time with the lady.

That being said, I lean towards Mediterranean and Asian cuisine...

For Tapas and Spanish fare, my go to would be Emilio's and Cafe BaBaReeBa (always pic up a bottle of Tempranillo/Rioja with sides of olives, jamon Serrano and manchego on my wa to a session). I like Chicago Kalbi for Korean and Gyu-Kaku (I know it's a chain resto but you can't beat the price for the quality and quantity) for Japanese bbq.

Have you done El's Idea? Love the whole Expieriance and a lot less stuffy then Grace or Alienia where it was weird to laugh or talk or look like you are enjoying yourself.  I had a great time at Next, but every time I say I'm not doing the alcohol pairing I do and that's all I'm going to say about that besides that's a lot of alcohol .

Oh I totally agree! You need that sustenance to keep it goin! ;)

& those are great suggestions. My FAVORITE "fast-ish" food restaurant is called Zaytune, it's Mediterranean. Falafels, shawarma etc. They even have these herb fries that they serve with an olive aioli... holy christ, they are to die for!

That's a real sure way to get yourself worked up for a good fucking right? Lol

Some people will never understand just how powerful not touching physically, but mentally, is for the out of body / euphoric sex.

Boom chakalaka

Lots of people do. This is very on topic, and a nice restaurant choice is very important to make or break a date experience.

You guys who get it are ahead of the game already, and know secrets these other people totally miss out on. :)

I just went to Parachute a couple days ago.  I wasn't impressed at all.  The food was just alright.

Some of my favorites in Chicago are Longman & Eagle, Dusek's, Bavette's, Siena Tavern, Tanta, Boka, Nico Osteria, and Fat Rice.

I have only experienced 3 dinner dates (mostly due to budget). All 3 were in Las vegas and all 3 were amazing.

Having a lady tease you at dinner is a great feeling.

There was one lady I saw at Cosmo. we ate at D.O.C.G (Scott Conant place)...when we ordered a dessert called "salted Caramel Bundino".....the lady I was with told me that dessert alone almost made her cum.....we ordered another and walked out of the casino with the dessert, glass and spoons (waiter said as long as we were staying at the Hotel it was fine).....
Anyhow.....once we made it to the room she proved her point. The lady LOVED that dessert. The soaked bed proved her point.
As a follow-up, twice she has text me that she went back to the restaurant and had the same dessert.

I am based in SW Michigan; but generally play in Vegas.

Sorry - this is a Chicago board; but I just wanted to say dinner dates can be so much fun and have been some of the best, sexiest times I have ever had
