I'm coming into town next week and I have a free night and I would love a restaurant recommendation. I'll be staying downtown and I'm looking for a place with a cool bar and a great wine list. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank u so much! XOXO Lily
Try Miller's Pub on Wabash and Adam's I believe or you can try Chucks Kitchen on Michigan ave and Wacker Drive ... I love both places pretty pricey but worth it..
Check out Quartino on State. It's a cute little Italian place. If the weather is nice you can eat outside. For a fun bar check out Sable, which is next to the Palomar. They do great cocktails, although I'm not sure about the wine list.
Strongly suggest The Purple Pig on Michigan Ave. Great Mediterranean food and a very extensive wine list
Vera is another great choice, especially if you're a fan of Spanish wines. The Bristol is good for great wine at a bit of a more budget friendly price point. Enjoy your time in Chicago! -Eve
I would just walk west on Randolph, once you are over the expressway start looking there are so many great places to go from girl and the goat to city winery everything on that stretch is great
It is a beautiful space with great sound, with a fairly good kitchen, and and excellent bar, but it has, hands down, the most uncomfortable chairs in the restaurant business.
Japonais is amazing. And, they have a lot of other dishes now too. There was another FAB sushi place that I went to that was on ... Lake St. I believe near downtown just over Halsted but I can't remember the name. It was sooo delicious.
