Is Schaumburg a good place for a touring ASP? Im scared of the big City for my first time back for a long time so I posted on another board and nearly got cursed out for not knowing. Any Info advice I will appreciate and use! Thank you kindly

Schaumburg, O'Hare and Oak Brook all good.

There are a lot of nice people in Schaumburg.  I really like this city.  I will keep coming back as long as the gentlemen continue to welcome me.  I like it here so much more than downtown Chicago.  Have fun and good luck.

since I'll occasionally drive in from the western part of the state to hobby.  I'll go downtown if absolutely necessary but it's much less preferable.  For me, Rockford is perfect but Schaumburg works just fine.

I am so happy someone posted about this I was wondering the same thing myself since i'll be touring in those areas soon.

I usually stay there when I visit and haven't ever had any problems and always stayed busy. Good luck!

Anyway the suburbs are like foreplay...

They put you in the mood )

Fight traffic to get to and after sex  
I HATE it some really neet places to stay in  
and near Schaumburg  
Quaint and relaxed  
Not HECTIC!!!!!

Schaumburg, Lombard, Oakbrook are nice areas.  Safer than the city.

Schaumburg is a great area.  Use google maps and you will find hotels, plenty of mid to upscale restaurants and the Woodfield mall.  

Oak Brook is another great area.  Equally safe as Schaumburg, great hotel selection, and more centrally located for clients in both the city and the West suburbs to reach you.  

Those are some observations that may prove helpful.  I hope your visit is safe and successful.
