I would say a healthy balance of both...

I am just curious... Is there anyone in your lives that has inspired you to become who you are today? Whether you are a Hobbyist or a Provider. There has to be someone or some instance... What was it... Love to hear it. You know I love my stories. :)

In my life, my high school physics teacher had a very large influence on me.

In the hobby, Traci / Generosa, sadly, had a huge influence on me, although most of it was negative.  Thankfully Jennifer helped pull me out of that.  And of course, Giselle has inspired and influenced me more than anybody I have ever met.

Cosmic.

I've been mulling on this one today...it's an interesting question.  With respect to the hobby, no influences come to mind...I've just always been a bit of a horn dog and this satisfies that part of me.  Professionally Warren Buffett (look for value and ignore the pundits), style wise young Sean Connery (timeless), and ethics wise Addicus Finch.

I really love these posts... It is nice to hear all about everyone and who they are! We all come together and have fun but it is also fun to know how we all got here. :)

High School coach who told me I was wasting my talent by hanging around with a bunch of losers. Decided to ditch them and focus on my kicking(I was a punter). Got my grades up. Caught a break when a D one school gave me a full ride. Got my undergrad and most of my MBA paid for. An alum got me an interview with a very prestigious company. I did the rest. Got the job and met the blonde there. It's been all good since then.

At least one and maybe two of my loser friends are dead. Another has been in and out of jail. Some of the girls have been married three times or have kids with three or more fathers. These were all suburban whites in another state.

I owe him but he passed away while I was an undergrad. So I never got to thank him.

Hobby, I have a kink and it is easier to use a provider.

That is an incredible story. These stories are why I post questions like this. It is good to know all about everyone here on this board. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!
I had a teacher in HS that was incredible and did something similar. She was wonderful and really loved what she did and the students that she saw needed and wanted help.
