After all, two weeks is "under six months" WAAAYYY fucking under. lol

but yeah I agree, those who "go out" with the biggest fanfare are the ones who seem destined to return, usually with some bullshit story about how successful they were in civvie life.

I usually set the over/under at six months when i see a retirement announcement....yeah, that includes the lame guys that feel compelled to announce it as well  LOL

Having followed these boards for years now...the successful exits are those that just delist themselves and move along to the next chapter.

But I do love the gals (and those lame ass guys) that need to post the "look at me" threADs announcing their next retirement.   Makes for interesting reading on an otherwise dull board.

Hell...after the "duo" announcement back in July I had the under at Halloween.

Can't win them all...should have shot for New Years and I come up a winner.

Those new disclaimers are interesting as well...I wonder why she put that on her new site?

Hell...plenty of gals take that week off when Auntie is here.  That isn't the criteria  LOL

It's a riot to see the full blown announcement complete with descriptions of what their next life event will be.

Fortunately most of those insipid threads are still up...so when she (or they) make their triumphant return it can be determined who wins the over/under part of the bet.

Another component of the bet is how much did some poor sap pay the gal while she was "retired".  I'll let Gambler explain how that can be won by those who like to play that game.

I believe she turned to God. Quite honestly, hotel California is a no check out system, but I've seen many people check out of the hotel by investing in their faith. Remember I was in ministry for years. It's a pretty cool thing to see people succeed in things others say they can't.

At this time, I'll just say I'm building my testimony lol.

If you'll recall once she "retired" under her original handle she made a comeback with several others (handles).

So I'd need to get a formal decision from the bookies on whether that constituted a retirement quickly followed by an "I'm back".

However she soon tired of that and has left this world for other adventures.  I hope she has found the happiness she was seeking.

While it is true that LR had several other handles after her "official" retirement, she wasn't really back. She hadn't left yet but rather changed personalities on the way out, lol. So it was a slow send off rather than what you're thinking of the typical I'm gone vs I'm back.

If you had an over/under on LR, you're way over by any means of measurement. LOL...

And Uhm, I'm a prostitute now. Not ashamed of it, but 'Used' to be in ministry - which wasn't preaching to churches, but singing to people in hospice and helping ppl living crack houses.

And you can't have a high and mighty attitude doing shit like that or you'll get shot lol.

Though I do notice a hell of a lot more high and mighty people here on some of these boards than in religious organizations - just sayin'. ;)

Good for you. I'd book you just for your singing. In fact, I remember I once booked a session with a young lady who mentioned she was a singer. I lold her I liked the gospel "I'm Coming Home" so she sang it for me. Quite a memorable experience. She recently was a contestant on one of the popular talent shows.

See? Book with a singer, just in case they become famous. Lol. I bet it was pretty cool to see her on TV. You can say "I've been with her". I know guys who see porn stars for that reason. I can also say I've been with a porn star, and it's pretty cool to watch the videos and say, "I've been with that chick" lol! (Sorry Zana lol)

I sing in secular venues now. I would be stoned and ostracized from the community if I led worship in a church doing what I do now, lol. But some of those gospel songs are really fun to sing. There is some serious technique going on in a lot of them. Also fun to belt it out every now and then.

The ones that really want to retire just go quietly. They take down their profile and begin a new life chapter. They may have an auto response email to tell people contacting about the retirement.

Nancy claims she never played the opening the same way twice. I've watched a bunch of them, they're all slightly different as claimed.

Find the 45-minute long training video she recorded - I'd love to hear you play it some time on that blaster acoustic.
