Looking for a primary doctor in Chicago. Any recommendations? Feel free to PM me as well.
I'd prefer someone close to downtown, likely Rush or Northwestern. Thanks.Tickled to be in on the secret.
But I'd suggest not telling. It'll go into your records and those stay around forever now that they're all in common and electronic. I just tell mine that I'm really trampy.Admittedly, that wasn't a technical term for anything real. In general I'm curious about what experienced hobbyists tell their doctors. From the response above, I'm guessing it's not recommended to be completely truthful?
Just a thought. Sorry if I'm wrong! Only trying to be funny

What Marie said. Just tell MD you play around a lot. No need to let on about hobby. Now of course if its something serious.....
I had really great experiences with doctors that cater to LGBTQ communities. They're open-minded, non-judgmental, and really into education.
In Chicago, we have Howard Brown, The Center on Halsted, and Aris. Perhaps something in your area would be akin to one of those places? Good luck to you.I'm honest with all of mine and none of them have ever been judgmental at all.
As an aside, I wonder how long "LGBT friendly" will be a thing...
Thanks to everyone who answered. Don't worry...nothing serious is going on. I just wondered if it's worth switching doctors and what kind of options are out there.
