It seems my wife has been having an affair with her gynecologist. Totally disdraught, I confronted her about it, and she admitted to it. I asked her how she could DO such a thing to me, and she replied that I had recently complained that she was lousy in bed, so she went to her doc to get a second opinion. The thing that's really pissing me off, is the fact that our HMO won't cover her visits to him. WTF !!

Squidly is a great guy. One of those types that would give you the shirt off his back. He has a brilliant mind, and is a comedic genius, BUT, he has some serious mental health issues that need to be resolved. While he is not dangerous, he is not always who he seems to be. By the way, how do you know what I sound like? I have never spoken to you, have I?

Self-important, unfunny, always shilling, self-deluded sense of eloquence. It sounds like that little pest to me.

Is Squidly your twin? Sick or not you guys have the same kind of humor. I don't read MC much anymore, but now that TEB has called it out, you are busted?

Squidly is the holy grail of great comedy. I am but a humble poster of moderate to dry humor. Although we have often traded material through PM, I could never hope to approach his level of genius. However, as with most geniuses, he is very eccentric, and difficult to understand. But the ladies seem to really appreciate him. I've been trying to get him to post on this board, but he professes his loyalty to the other one.

I haven't posted there in a while. But I just put one up, informing Squidly of these rumors. I'm sure he will find them amusing.

Squidly isn't a little pest, he's actually a big pest. As for the rest of your descrition of us, I can only speak for myself, in thanking you for pointing out all my faults, so I can work hard to correct them, and achieve a standard of excellence that you have never been able to attain. Perhaps some day you will be very proud of me.

Squidly is the only reason i ever read mc. His posts are enertaning, and fun. If you dont get him, dont read him, simple as that.

Whether the man has one or two or ten different names- he is still the same funny, light-hearted, welcoming, supportive, kind, honest man.  In my book, I rate him a perfect 10.  Oh, and Baby, if I was your wife- I'd never cheat on you.  I'd bring You With to the Doctor and have him videotape

Too much is made of using aliases, but aren't all just that? I know a half dozen guys in the hobby and all of the ladies who have trusted me enough to share parts of their personal lives, I have not seen one of them use their real names in connection with any of these boards. Frankly, even if they did, most wouldn't have to endure any bullshit unless they were outed in the local rag or put one one of the websites. In fact, it bothers me none that people use aliases to say mean shit, I mean it's not cool, but why get upset by the comments of some nameless, faceless bastard that gets his jollies off on saying stupid things? Like most things in the digital world, aliases are  a common feature and if used a certain way, allows you to express the different sides of yourself and sometimes, expressing an opinion that you don't want to get a ton of mail on is okay. For most of us, we use them in mature ways to mask our on-line identities and if anyone takes offense to Squidly's humor for example, or Jockeypant's "reports from the field," or the timely rants of Emma Bond, then you are just missing the point, period. I am sure all of them from time to time use one or more different personas to make a point or two.

This is FREE and the owners of the TER not any of us get to legislate the content and the contributors. These people who love to stuff your mailbox with their rants or BS need to get a life.
