So Im cruising down the highway the other day in my Trans-am going way over the speed limit. As it should be And although I love my Trans-am there is still that dream car that I have. I will own this car one day, but for now my Trans-am will suffice and I'll probably keep her until gas becomes obsolete. So my fellow TER patrons and more importantly Carolinians whats your dream ride? Do you already have it? Or do your tastes very enough that one simply is not enough? Hopefully I attached the photo of mine properly, and for those 80's nerds like me you might even recognize it. No its not KITT.
69 Camaro, the first gen always put a rumble in my block.
Lotus Elise for some reason the big things in small packages always appealed to me.
Here's mine 1965 Corvette Stingray Nassau Blue with White Soft Top
Big fan of old muscle cars and hot rods.
P.S.....still waiting for a ride in that fast little number of yours leon. LOL!!Im ready to give you a good ride! You need get up north M'lady!

You mean 69 Trans-am right..................right?!
Lotus Elise for some reason the big things in small packages always appealed to me.
& +1 for the Trans Am!
Sure why not? Haha!
My dad had a Mach 1 so when others drool over it I'm all that's nice.Lotus Elise for some reason the big things in small packages always appealed to me.

After more than 40 years behind the wheel of everything from vintage Cadillacs to Hemi-powered Mopar gas guzzlers to exotics to mommy-vans to pick up trucks, I don't think I can improve much on my current ride, an Audi A5 Cabrio. You can get faster, you can get sportier and you can spend more money, but it's enough of all of the above for me and I've never had anybody balk at joining me for a road trip. I'd post a pic, but its an unusual , especially good-looking color and there's not another like it in this part of the state, and folks around here recognize it as my car. Maybe I shouldn't be such an a$$hat driving with the top down and the B&O blasting all the time...
When I was 12, I was mighty proud driving down the road atop a 1947 International Harvester/ McCormick Farmall H tractor, but that's another story. As for "Eleanor", I am amazed at some of the amazing technology on new model cars. On anything but a drag strip, a new 2015 Mustang with the 4 cylinder turbo Eco-Boost engine will more than keep up with a 1967 Shelby GT 500. Y'all play safe and dont text and drive.'71 Boss 351 'Stang Fastback (mine was red, red, red!). Now I drive a mudder... Land Rover. terrain over speed!
I had the pleasure of owning an Austin-Healey Sprite---(spell check is mad at me???)with bug eyes and a removable hard top) I could take any sharp curve over the Cascade mtns without regard to my speed)
Loved that lil bug-eyed baby car)
The last one sold at auction in 2013 went for $417K:
66 SS 396 Chevelle. 69 427 Yenko Camaro. 68 383 Roadrunner. Any Saleen or Roush Mustang. Unfortunately I've never owned any of these. The coolest car I ever owned was an aqua green 93 LX 5.0 Mustang. It was the first new car I ever bought. I was 22 yrs. old. Loved that car. Been driving pick-ups forever now. They're just so damned handy to have. And none of the above mentioned cars are worth crap in the snow! I know my Mustang sure wasn't! Who knows. Maybe it's time to get another cool car.
A local guy had one of every color and all numbers matched. I would settle for the ride the little ol lady from Pasadena drove. Max wedge 413 Super Stock Dodge.
I always felt the old fox body 5.0 Mustangs were the last affordable muscle cars. I got mine for $16,500. Lotta bang for the buck, and It didn't take much to make them seriously fast (i.e. GT40 heads & intake, H-pipe and flows, pulleys and gears, maybe a shot of NO, and you had a flying machine). Watched lots of street races of these cars back in the day. In 94 they changed the body style (which I wasn't so crazy about) and if you wanted a V-8 Stang it was 22 grand. That put it out of my reach.
HA. STROKE ME, STROKE ME! GIVE ME THE BUSI-NESS ALL NIGHT LONG!
Who doesnt want a Bugatti? Unless I become stupidly wealthy Im not dropping 1M on a car. Ford GT is my 2nd choice of dream cars, but if you look at my original pic the Coyote is a close facsimile to the GT. I would definitely roll with a Knight Rider replica. Just put some modern software in that baby oh yea.
My car of choice would be either a Ford GT

or a Bugatti Veyron

I have a fun little car that'll do for now, though!
I like the Mustangs. Its just that every swinging D!ick has one. They're everywhere. Dont see Trans-ams anymore and Mustang owners are always surprised when my 500HP bird smokes the daylights out of them. I cant be a sheep regardless of how cool the Mustangs are.
55 Gunboat Catamaran.
Because there are no lanes in the ocean, you can live on it and no one complains if you sail naked.Yes the car is a kit basically from an 80's show. Its stupid fast and could easily fit in the supercar pack. What car holds a candle to a Bugatti..........nothing right now. The Pagani was really up there and the Bugatti smokes it also.
Good god, listen to her purr.
No 20 year old kid should have been allowed to have that much power AND access to as much alcohol as we did back then. Going through the gears I could burn more rubber in an eye-blink than Goodyear made on a Monday morning. Top end was just under 140 - it was pretty flighty until it got up around 115 and then it just hunkered down and ran. I could literally watch the gas gauge move.
'57 Chevy Bel Air convertible In either tomato red or sky blue...
preferably sky blue
For oldies I have to go with the 56 Plymouth Fury. Christine.
Gotta admit. Thats pretty!
Awwww no more image.....
I've got one. Picture isn't mine, but close enough. There's just something about the bench seat and riding with someone under your arm that bucket seats can't match.
And the covered bed in the back means you can stop to play in even the worst of weather!
