On a few occasions, including recently, I have sent a p411 appointment request to a girl who is planning to be in my area a week or two later, and been met with total silence. Most of the time I'll get a fairly timely response, but sometimes nothing.

I've written about 30 reviews on TER, and I have about 20 okays on p411, so I'm fairly well-established in the hobby. I also have very limited times when I'm available to meet a girl.

So, here's my question: How long should I wait before assuming that I'm not going to hear from girl #1, and therefore it's okay for me to send an appointment request to girl #2 for the same day? Or do I have to withdraw the first request before sending out the second one? I don't want to wait so long that it becomes hard to schedule anyone for the brief window of availability that I have to meet someone.

What's the right thing to do?

But, personally I am a 9-5'er or there abouts and I ask for at least a 24 hour notice for visits.

If you are setting up something in advance which any lady prefers of course, with all the bells and whistles you have, I feel that it is fine to approach more than one person at a time.  For me, once I have accepted a date, I never take another one, but before that it is a free world out there and you are correct that it makes it hard to get a last minute date.  I do try to entertain last minute dates especially when the gent is so well reviewed and certified.

Contact the admins on p411.  P411 gals are required to respond to you in a timely manner - even if to politely decline your request.  If the lady ignores you, their account will be suspended until they fix the issue.

Also, clients that cancel on a p411 gal and do not pay her stated cancellation fee will also have their accounts permanently terminated (not suspended).

At least, that's what I have heard :

I appreciate the comments. I do need to clarify something in the original post that I wrote in a confusing way.

Let's say that I sent girl#1 an appointment request on Monday for the Thursday of the following week, i.e., 10 days away. That is the only day I am free to meet anyone this month. After 3 days of hearing nothing from girl#1, and having sent her 2 emails with no reply, is it okay to send out a request to girl#2 for that same Thursday (now maybe 6 or 7 days out) or should I wait longer for girl#1, or email her yet again?

Is it time to complain to p411 or should I give that aspect of it more time?

I would have to say yes and yes. I have my application in for P411...I will respond the same day to anyone who writes...even if it is to say No Thank You.

I feel your pain. Many girls NEED someone to screen and take care of emails, but they refuse to accept that. Send her one more email saying her lack of response ended up with you booking with another provider And then, move on. There are lots of providers who return emails and treat this like a business. Go find one. I won't give my money to flakes.

I agree with second email. Life can get in the way and with traveling ladies balancing everything and having something not fall thru is a possibility. They might also be waiting for a second person to request an appointment to make a trip worth it for them. That however is not your problem and I woul send her another request after the 2-3 days reminding her of you first request and if nothing in a day or 2 then move on. Maybe her next trip thru will work out for both of you should you really want to see her

That does help. The weekend thing is especially important to keep in mind.

I hope other providers are as reasonable as you are. I suspect there might be some who take exception to the "two requests at once" approach.

My own practice is to make one request at at time, and if I don't hear back after a couple of days to send a follow-up email, and if I still don't hear to send a cancellation email with a "hope we can do it another time" message. Even then, I've gotten some extremely antagonistic responses to the cancellation, which ironically seems to get a much quicker response than the date request ever did.

I guess I worry about being an email pest by sending too many. My issue is that I have to plan ahead and get a lot of ducks in a row if I'm going to be able to even have a date, and if it gets to be too close to the supposed meeting date and I'm still not confirmed I could be completely out of luck.

Ive had a number of people send me a request on p411 and at the same time send me a text or email saying they sent the request. I like that approach because I seem to have issues w the p411 notification email often.

I would give 24hrs or till Monday evening if you send the request on the weekend. Then maybe email her directly incase ahe didn't get the p411 notification and give it another day. After that I think it's more then reasonable you send someone else a request. If you leave your first request open to increase your odds and she responds after you set another date simply tell her you had sent another request when you didn't hear from her. If she doesn't understand its her problem.
I don't exactly like the idea of sending multiple requests out at once, unless it's a day or 2 before the date and you don't have time to waste. I'm not going to get mad about it though, as long as your considerate. I had one guy, who I answered 6 hours later wait a day and a half, till the day before the date to tell me he sent multiples and someone else was first. Waiting till so close to the date made things hard for me, otherwise I wouldn't mind.
