Prices Chicken Coop (a working persons fried chicken/fish place) no dine in
Brooks Brothers Hamburgers (a blue collar place in North Davidson arts area, cash only) no dine in
R&R bbq in Concord (clean no gristle NC Eastern/NC western bbq)
Amelies French Bakery in north Davidson arts area
Lang Van's authentic Vietnamese cooking, Shamrock drive
Jai Pur Indian buffet/Maharani Indian restaurant, S. blvd/Kings drive
Roosters, Morrison blvd
El Pulgarcito, central ave, (the kind of place were you are the only non-Hispanic, go for the seafood soup it is excellent but only offered on the weekends)

Would add Caffe Luna on Hargett Street to the list if you like Italian.
