Hello everyone...

I have decided to write a book. The title will be "the HOBBY".
I think it will be a fun and informative read, a kind of guide for men who want to know what to do when seeing a lady, (in or out of the biz, but especially in) an instruction manual for ladies in the biz, a compilation of common to little known facts,(good and bad) and a rare insight into the taboo world of the adult service provider. It will also be a how-to guide for sex, with tips for everybody from the virgin, novice, player, lover, swinger, to the casanova/sex diva. It will include a section for wives on how to be the ultimate fantasy girl so your husband will stay home, and how to role play like the best providers do.

The chapters are roughly outlined below. I would love to hear your thoughts on these ideas, and any stories/tips/facts/ideas or opinions are encouraged. Please respond!

looks like you put alot of thought into this and from what i can tell you have pretty much all the bases covered...if i could add one thing, it would be a Glossary of jargon...other than that, good luck and if you ever need an interviewee feel free to contact me.

Several people have contacted me regarding the outline I posted with concerns that it might get stolen. I thank you for watching out for me.

Before I posted the message I had the idea, title and outline for the book registered for copyright. So I am protected. Don't steal the idea from me  .. or if you try to, it will not be like my book anyway because I am writing it from my perspective, my experience.

I think that it would be a good seller. There have been a few books about the business, e.g. "A House is Not a Home" by Polly Adler, that was back in the 40s or 50s, and there was the one by Biddle, I've forgotten the name, however Biddle was a DC Madam catering to the elite in the Washington DC area, whether they be there on business or were residents.
It would serve you well if you were to tell the story to a professional writer who could then put it down on paper. It would save you time by not having to take years to learn to write, for example.... "The Provider"  as told to Jane Doe, by Rhiannon... or something to that effect.
I say go for it, I'm sure that your own experiences as well as those told to you by your colleagues will make interesting reading for Hobbiests as well as their wives/mistresses, paramours and wannabes.

Go for it luv !!!

...I am just moonlighting my writing carrer with an interesting pasttime... I have been to school for the last 5 years ... (pepperdine, baby!) for writing...

Sorry I didn't know about your background, but then again, why should I. When we post messages and replies, we are just names and unless someone has been reading all of the info on the boards, there is really no way of knowing.
I'm sure that you must be aware of the two titles that I cited.
I remember reading Polly Adler's "A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME" back in the 50s..... I guess that dates me.
I admire your goal to write a book about the "business". I have a few tales that I could tell you that are probably very mundane for someone who has worked in the field.
God bless and good luck with the publishers!
