So I've found myself with a free day and I want to have some fun!  What is there to do around here? I'm feeling outdoorsy today.  I saw Carowinds on my way in, maybe I'll give that a shot?  What about some nature trails or gardens, zoos, parks?

Lake Norman is just above Charlotte---rent a boat), Kings Mtn is js just west---has a mountain you can climb, or just enjoy the hike around, not too far up I-85 is High Rock lake---rent a boat, or east is Morrow Mtn. state park---actual mountain), also big lake for boat rental)
