Truly a heart felt, yet different, perspective.  All of us have those special songs that describe our life's journeys.  Mine would have to borrow from Cat Stevens, Eric Clapton, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Chicago, Elton John, and Crosby, Still, Nash & Young.  Somehow, I just can't narrow it down to jus one ;-)

I am up at my usual nocturnal self.......geez I sometimes think I would love to go to a City that never sleeps, however, this is my serenity and imagination time with Ta! DA! no interruptions. . I was just cruising the web and came into this song or duo by Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand..........and thought to myself.........this is why I have employment in this profession.

I married my High School Crush who was a very handsome 6'4 one forth Cherokee Indian. I used to be late to class because I would stand at the window and watch him walk to PE. I was a sophomore in 10th grade and he was a Senior about to graduate. Would I ever see this person again......And the beat goes on..........

Below is a clip from Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand singing a duo of "You don't bring me flowers, you don't sing me Love Songs anymore.

I honestly think that marriage is a Man made institution or maybe not. When it was written, the life span of people of that age was 40, so a female had her menus at 16, married at 16, and Death to we Part was only about 24 years. So today I live in a world that is completely different than that.

I did end up marrying my baseball player who was number 4 and known as the cleanup batter, the one who brought everyone to home base. We had a wonderful time while dating, 5 ears or so, then marriage came along and I feel the song above describes it all. Not only to me, yet to all my friends I see. The magic , the chase, the perfect look when we saw each other, the competition  all went away.

I think or feel that this is why being an Escort is an honor. We fill in the gaps, bring life and sparks back into each other's life, and the magic returns, for just one night without the drama and deep emotions involved. For me at least........

Can anyone else relate? Comments? Kelley

I know, I don't like the song either to tell you the truth. I was home alone last night looking at hair extensions and that sound popped up from no where! I listened to it and it just brought back those stupid memories. Kelley

I have a few songs in my iPhone that I'm not particularly proud of that seem to only play when others are riding in the truck with me. We all have those, don't we? Don't we? Songs that should come with excuses! But they didn't. Next time someone opens their mouth when Too Shy by Kajagoogoo starts playing (I don't know how it got there! I don't know!), I will look straight ahead and respond with no more than, "Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand, hair extensions" before turning up the volume and stepping on the gas!

Hair extensions??? Oh you crack me up

...you never let me down before. Don't imagine you're too familiar and I don't see you anymore. Oh, sorry. Got this dang Billy Joel song lodged in my head! As I was saying, I like your looks "Just The Way You Are" BUT if you're gonna play with them, that one photo on your website...you're wearing glasses. And there's this big giant cell phone...right in front of your face, and said glasses. And, well, I kinda have a thing for women in glasses. I don't think I'm the only one either. Just sayin'

Geez, who does? Did you listen to the song? Did you understand the message? I thought it was a feeling, an emotion that I hear most often from the people I see. To me it was not a sad emotion. It ended with the positive note that it is an honor to bring magic back into each other's life.

Getting excited for the date, going out, laughing, having fun, sharing each other's life???? I think on that note it was a positive post. Nuff said. Kelley

Glad you had a fantastic date and made you smile!
