As we enter the holiday season, please don't forget...

that this can be the loneliest time of year for so many people. My wish is that those of us who are blessed with close families, friends and material comforts not forget those of us who often feel alone during this season and beyond. There are many common bonds in the hobby on both sides of the aisle. To quote a poster on the Boston board, “These women should be treated with kindness and not worked to death.” I’m sure many women are working out of necessity but there are probably more than a few who need to keep busy. I hope that we can each do a little something this season to make another person(s) feel less alone. :(

Happy Holidays everyone!

Yes you are so correct, there are both sides to being alone. I agree, and always do treat all with respect and expect the same in return. I was lucky to be able to spend some time with my 93 yo mother today. She may not be here next year, and she will not remember me being here tomorrow, but at the moment she is happy.  If I can do anything for any of you ladies, let me know, I will be traveling back to Atlanta  tomorrow, Friday and will stop over in Greenville fri night. If anyone needs a moral boost on a open ear, let me know and I will do my best to give you an open ear or some help.  Nothing requested in return, just know how alone feels, as I have been there before. Sometimes when you are actually with someone, you are still alone, so, take care and I hope everyone had a wonderfull Thanksgiving and I wish you all well. Jimmy
