..... interestingly enough I've gotten a few emails about Vancouver but never considered it.

Dunno much about the working of any parts of Canada.

If anyone provider or hobbyist would share info of where it'd be good to keep incall, where to advertise, what times of year are great to tour/visit, how to get around (I can't drive.....don't know how lol),  where to eat, where to drink lol, you name it. I'd appreciate it.
