Gentlemen, how much is the most you've ever spent on...

1) A hotel room. Whether by choice or necessity, what is the most you've ever spent on a room in order to make a meeting happen?

2) Total expenses for a single meeting outside of the donation itself. Things like hotel room plus travel, airfare, entertainment, dinner, and other related expenses for a single meeting.

This isn't a contest. I'm just looking for thoughtful answers and perhaps some funny details. For my part, one special client recently advanced me $500 on short notice just to secure a hotel for him and his chosen companion!

for the Peninsula in NYC, back when I could afford such fripperies.  That is one great hotel, and if I ever get enough green, I'll be back there.

As for total cost of a date, that would depend upon whether you consider whether the date is a vacation, in which case all the airfare, meals, hotels stay, and entertainment is included.  On that score, it had to be a trip to Bali for 4 nights I made which included business class airfare.  That was nearly $20,000.

For a one night stand type of deal, probably about $1,000 including the hotel, a Broadway play, and a fancy dinner

I see hotel room as a business expense  for the provider not me.

It is foolish to advance money to an provider or agency for any reason, if something goes wrong, good luck getting your money back.  Plenty of horror stories about that happening.

I would never pay a plumber or electrician up front for work I need done, you pay them after the work is done.

It's not that I am cheap, I am just smart with my money.

Also this guy who advanced you $500 so you can book a $200 dollar hotel room, my guess is he will never see the difference back will he?????

What a fool he is, he would have been smarter to book the room himself

I have to agree... I lined up a date and needed a room as this provider was out call only. The room was only 100 but she was a ncns and I ended up giving my self a hand job.

I have never paid for a hotel for the express purpose of seeing a provider. I have seen providers in hotels, incidentally while traveling for other reasons. I have also seen providers in hotels where they are the one renting the room. I would never get a hotel room just to see a provider. If in Boston, if they have no incall, they can come to my home.

Total expenses outside of the meeting itself... I once had such a lovely time with a provider that we decided to have lunch together. I offered to pay for us both, but she insisted on paying herself.

My intuition here is that you're trying to get people excited and "macho" about paying loads of money. The only contest you'll find here is people trying to show how smart they are when it comes to spending. Most of us here are not media moguls in Hollywood Hills nor newbies splashing out cash naïvely.

The same amount providers have discounted to see me: Zero.

Why pay for a room when so many girls are out there with the room already paid?

I used to pay $20-40 for parking downtown during weekday appointments.  That is why I prefer the suburbs.

Fairly common for me to take a woman out for dinner or lunch after our appointment if she is hungry and has the time available.  Most girls don't eat ahead of seeing me, and there is a smart reason for that.  Amazing what they say when not on the clock.

One interesting story was an ATF who needed a computer.  She never seemed to have the time or money to buy a computer herself so I offered to give her one as payment for an appointment.  Bought a nice lady-like laptop that made her very happy.

Who the companion is, how easy difficult UTR she is, and when and where she is available.

Persuading an independent companions to visit Boston also might increase the number.

And with good planning ahead, some hotels are just much better for the complete experience

Have you been drinking? What does any of this have to do with my topic?
