YMMV?

I've often wondered how some providers can receive consistent ratings of 8, 9 or 10 and then have a 4, 5 or 6 thrown in and the hobbyist will put a disclaimer of YMMV.  We as hobbyists place so much emphasis on looks and we figure "why shouldn't I, I'm the one paying?"  This may be true, but in many ways one should only expect to receive what one can offer.  It's my humble opinion that most of the YMMV disclaimers are issued by people who are not all that pleasing to the senses.  If you show up at an appointment disheveled, dirty or generally unclean how can you expect the provider to block that out a give a GFE?  It's a lot of guy's fantasy to be a male escort, but think about it, if some nasty, sweaty, stinking female shows up for an appointment with you, how hard are you going to get?  If you want to get a great experience you've got to give a great experience!! Not every guy can be a 'hunk', but the least you can do is make yourself as presentable as you can.  Just think of it as a first date and you're trying to impress the lady enough to make her want to see you again.  It would make for a better experience for you, as well as the people following you.:)
Again, this is just my humble opinion and I did say MOST of the YMMV disclaimers

I was thinking the same thing.  Maybe there should be a check box next to the reviewer indicating the age, weight, etc.  That way we somewhat know that person's look and everything else.  Providers tend to respond much more affectionately to different types of people.

Well there is also the case where the two people don't "click". This may have nothing to do with appearence or smell, but simply personality. Also maybe the lady or the guy is not having a good day, and therefore the overll experience is not that great.

To lay a blanket statement that a bad YMMV experience is due to the guys appearence or BO is not fair. I think you need to look at the reviews the person has done in the past and gauge it that way.

There should be some type of Hobbyist review sheet.  Does anyone else out there feel the same?

Let me start by saying that I have nothing but the utmost respect for providers...I realize that we are buying their time and not their souls...but I don't really understand the thought process behind reviewing a client.  Personally, I wouldn't submit to any formal type of process that gave any information about me.  I just don't think it is necessary.  There are some privileges that go with being the payor rather than the payee and one of those is the ability to provide a review.

There is certainly an informal client review that exists among the women in this hobby and I believe that is as far as it should go.
