While TER isn't strictly imposing these guidelines yet, it's coming! Many of the other regional board moderators are enforcing these guidelines to the letter. I prefer to be a bit flexible.

I know there are a few local independents and agencies who are still working on websites (I hope ;) I haven't really been cracking down on daily schedule/ad posts but this isn't fair to the independents/agencies who adhere to the once a week posting guidelines.

Providers, please click the link that's attached to this post. These guidelines were provided by Girl Next Door, the Queen of the discussion boards at TER. GND makes the point that providers are free to reply to any post or to start any thread. The only limitation is on schedule/ad type posts. The TER guidelines ask you to limit schedule/ad posts to once per week. I'm going to enforce a limit of twice a week. Hey, if your schedule occasionally changes, I realize you might have to post an update. On the other hand, if you need to post new (or redundant) information more often, that info should go on your website.

TER guidelines also require that providers have a website link in order to post schedules/ads. I won't enforce that requirement. However, let me point out that TER's definition of a website isn't very strict. Your website must show your working name, photo(s) and either email or phone contact.

If you have any questions or suggestions about the guidelines, you can post here or write to me at [email protected]

Thanks for understanding.
