With Boston being largest city with so many attractions, I must admit I am pretty excited about finally going!  I have to ask, what are a few " must see" or " must do" activities here. Of course I can just check google but I rather ask to get a more personal responds from the board.

PMs are welcomed :-)

but really, what are you interested in?

We have a world class Fine Arts Museum, among others.

There is the Freedom Trail downtown if you are into history.

Lots of good shopping around Newbury Street and the nearby Copley Place and Prudential Malls.

The North End is an interesting old Italian neighborhood that is worth seeing.  You can combine that with taking in a Celtics or Bruins game at the Garden nearby.

Lots of nightlife at the Seaport District.

Take your choice

I'm really into history so the Freedom Trail Downtown catches my eye! I'm going to have to really take a day to figure out everything I want to see lol

Freedom Trail goes right thru the North End so you can knock off 2 items... See if the Duck Boats are still running - they leave from the Prudential Center and are a lot of fun - if you like history the old grave yard just beyond Boston Common is pretty cool - some of Boston's old patriots are there along with novelists...great city but Feb is not the best time to visit. Enjoy your stay.

Yes, February might be a little tough when it comes to sightseeing but I plan to return pretty often maybe every other month so I figured
I should start somewhere lol.

Thanks

To prevent inordinate melting, I heard they need to turn down the thermostat when you show up at the Ice Bar, Erin.  😉

I think that they are closed for the winter BUT the duck boat tours are great.  The drivers are funnnnnny and you do get to see a lot of stuff.

There might be other tour busses you could catch. Ask at the hotels.

The Orange Line does not go to Sommerville, it is the Red Line; stop at Davis Sq.
