nor whether her body was attacked by the bugs or just the premises
I go to confirm a session with a long time favorite and she writes back that she has to cancel on account of a bug infestation. She only does incall.
I think it is legit because I have known her for years, but still and all, this is the first time this issue has ever come up, and over the years I've heard many including psychiatric hospitalization and car crash.
Anyone else heard this one before?
Sorry, no names as she is UTR
Is it a decent hotel?
Many hotels have this issue.
Imo
Good of her to cancel sir
Her abode not her person.
Oh God, I hope the bug infestation was in the room and not somewhere else....
Unfortunately bed bug are verrrry common in hotels of all price ranges.
You do not know unless they have to cancel your reservation. Even then they rarely tell you why they cancelled you. Overbooking is usually the excuse.
I know a couple of people that work in bed bug related services, from bed bug detection dogs, to exterminators, to companies that come in and heat up the rooms to 145 degrees for 3-4 hours to kill the adult bugs and the eggs.
not something a hotel wants to go public!

I feel bad for her 😯
in seemingly random measure.
I find it far less inflammatory for all involved to accept the rationale with good grace and thank her for the advance cancellation (I think you implied this was the case) - especially for a friend I've known for a while and have a good relationship with.

Stay sane, my friend.
